NEW Minion Cafe & Land Soft Opened! Trying New Food & Drinks, Banana Popcorn & Beer (& a storm)

- Join us for our first time trying the brand new Minion Cafe and checking out Minion Land in its soft opening period at Universal Studios Florida! We dine at Minion Cafe, try several menu items, drinks and desserts, check out the theming and easter eggs, and also try Freeze Ray Pops, check out Bake My Day bakery and the wonderful theming and new merchandise in there, try banana flavored popcorn and banana bread flavored beer at Pop-A-Nana, get a new elaborate Minions popcorn bucket, and of course get caught in a summer afternoon thunderstorm! We see some beautiful rain in the parks and lightning on the I4. All a part of summers here in Florida, just singing in the rain! Hope you enjoy hanging out with us, having some fun and being Minions for a day, and our thoughts on the brand new food and drinks, as this area of the park is currently in its soft opening period and has not yet fully, officially opened!

I really love this move to “ real” food at theme parks🎉 Especially when you are there for a few days in a row, you get to have vegetables, which just helps with energy and feeling good😊

I’ve seen four other vlogs of this soft opening. This one is hands-down the BEST. And you would think after watching four before Jackie, she wouldn’t show me anything new. Six things she presented were new. And out of those other four vloggers you can tell she genuinely is a fan of the franchise and pieced together things from the movie to what was presented at the café. I’ve never seen the movie, admittedly. So having an explanation of the two drinks was enlightening to me. Why didn’t the other vloggers explain that? Some actually admitted they weren’t fans of the franchise, but others acted like they were. And no one has shown me the bathrooms! Even the Bounding was on point and added to the vide. This is why even if she is late to the game I always have to see Jackie’s take on whatever is new.
Bello 😂 I see what you did there. Love y’all’s Minion-chic attire! We will definitely miss the Monsters Cafe, but the Minions Cafe fills its shoes out quite well. Looks like the food might even be a smidge better than what Frankenstein and Dracula were serving up! Although we have been hearing very mixed reviews of the Banana Beer 👀 I have to say, I dig the soundtrack in the Cafe, too - the Aha’s pair perfectly with the chaos of Minions HQ 😂 Shame about the rain, but Florida gonna Florida. Good thing you got in and out before the worst of it started up! That drainage vent spouting the water into the air like a geyser was something else 💦 Stay safe out there - thanks for sharing!
Such a great video, especially on all the Minions goodness I sent it to my wife! She now wants to go and see it in the future!
