The best planet I’ve seen for your first outpost is Bessel III-b it’s straight north from Sol and a little east. The time jump is 1 hour to about 59 UTC and you can get a 3 way split biome of mountains, rocky desert and hills which will give you nickel, aluminum, iron and cobalt all in one outpost and it doesn’t require any skills to build on it. Hope this helps.
yea, def worth going there instead of the loveli planet for nickel and cobalt, was my first outpost. but idk kibbles gotta be aware of it since he responded to vash's most recent video and he blew up for making the bessel III-b video.
@@cjpack The way he talks about "being the first" to find this and that I don't think he want's to admit it's better and Vash likes to talk mad trash which does not help, but is funny.
Vash video was posted first on Bessl III-b, then days later several more copy cats. Now people don't even mention and deny it is in fact the best starter planet.
Dude, I subscribed to you when New World dropped. Since then, you’ve absolutely blown up!! Really appreciate the time and effort you’ve put into Starfield as you have certainly helped me and my space ventures!!
The first 4 planets can be consolidated to 3. The first planet, andraphon, actually has beryllium available on it, giving you aluminum, beryllium and iron. Helium 3 can also be found here for later use as fuel for transport links. The second planet I use is Heilo (moon of Montara) because it’s close in the cheyenne system and gives Tungsten and Titanium. The last planet is Zamka in Alpha Centauri (moon of Olivas). This provides copper, cobalt and nickel. He-3 is also an option here, as well as a couple other resources you may find of interest later on.
Good info! If you can, on Androphon if you look long enough you can find a spot with He3, iron, aluminum and beryllium. Then on Sumati you can get copper and have it shipped to Andraphon. You can then make adaptive frames and rheostats at the same time
Zeta Ophiuchi is actually the first outpost i make (polymer), then another quick outpost on Jaffa for Titanium to make weapon cases. Then, i have enough to sell in Neon to do anything i want in a fresh NG+
Probably super late to the party, but The Key also has a good nearby moon (it’s called Ice) for resting. 1 hour is 89 hours UT, and I just sleep inside my ship. I personally like this spot the most on xbox seeing as you have quick access to ~30k worth of vendor credits to take every run.
important tip: Any planet with settlement vendor that is near good resources (this is rng). For example I went to masada III to build an outpost to swap ships i stole easily as its kinda far out and hard to get to so having a base in that part of the galaxy is nice, ended up building an outpost right next to a settlement that had a vendor and bar, also easily get resources you are missing, and sell stuff. i always have resources on hand but sometimes youre short something to craft a mod or build something, and this its usually enough to cover the cost and no fast travel saving me a trip. so check out any settlement POIs on any planet and see if there are good resources near by, mine happened to have alkane iron Ytterbium water + fauna and flora.
Find a triple point. I got nickel, aluminum, and iron (each different biomes) and cobalt in one outpost. I believe it was bessel3b? Up left from alpha centauri
I find it very amusing that you can sleep for what is effectively days on end, in just a sleeping bag, on a planet with *no atmosphere*. Do your companions regularly rock up and change your O2 canister or something? Perhaps also throw on a few electric blankets to prevent you from freezing while in your self imposed coma?
Do the outposts on deep freeze and inferno planets still get attacked by bad guys? I haven't seen any yet and need to know how much defense I need for them.
I enjoy your content, it's some of the best/straight to the point starfield content. Constructive criticism: better pop filter on your mic, and turn down the "S" frequency... id ont remember what it is maybe 1khz-2khz¿
One of my favorite systems is Linnaues. Its nice looking has a good time to UT time exchange and you can get a suuply chain going for the basics (Al FE BE CU NI CO)
Yeah I think I have like 3 bases in Linnaues, I got the water/ iron/ Aluminum/ brylliuim/ alkanes outpost I got the hellium outpost (i couldve gotten hellium at the first outpost but I spent 2 hours and couldnt find a spot with all 6). And the Cobalt and nickel outpost.
Kibble can we make that AMP 2.0 with snake oil build, or is snake oil too hard to get by, would it be profitable? AMP is legendery outpost! making that next re using stuff build like comm relay is using our 1st xp printers to get xp printer 2.0 stuff (magnets and thau grade) AMP and frames xp printers next to that is side job, now to get AMP also to the next level is snake oil!! think kibble think! amazing work on all videos dude!
A tip for you guys if you want your main outpost to be a peaceful place you should put your outposts on lvl 1-5 systems, or else your bases will be attacked constantly in my experience. You get all the neccessary resources for crafting on low level systems anyway.
Probably because the cargo system is broken and it's very convenient to have the 2 resources you need to craft a specific item on one spot. If you have done any kind of upscaled xp farming you should know that if you farm more than 2 you can't be efficient enough because your hardware limits you on the amount of containers you can place there, it just lags out.
Great vid and best the info. Matches really well with the "Factory" vid by @Polemos_RPG that was posted two weeks ago. To date I've done the first sections of the main quest but held off doing the Last one as wanted tl see which of the story lines were advantaged or disadvantaged by charcter start selections. Like i really think poetic justice for one companion character "The Fan" the story can really help, if i do take him again and don't kill him off by murder most deserved ... lol. While i wish we had better nav aids and technology to map the 1000 or so planets guess till then it's guides like yours and @Polemos_RPG that are the best solutions
The only problem i have with Andromas as an early post is that it is an extreme environment planet. So early gamers won't be able to use it. Instead use Indum 2. It is between Alpha Centauri and Olympus, the bottom of the Guniibuu/Indum binary solar system. Guniibuu has a planet with Copper and Beryllium but it is also an extreme environment. On Indum 2 you need to do a split biome between Frozen Volcanic and Swamp. I found a spot that has awesome veins of Beryllium, Copper, and Aluminum. And they are spread out just perfectly for everything else ypu need. Best thing it is not an extreme environment so early players can set up there.
Here is me thinking this is a video with a beautiful planets/views and nice looking settlements. Gaming 2023. Top 10 ways to cheat in a single player game. We old folks like to go to Nexus for these things.
u dont really. rothicite is in the exact same spot on that planet and its an exotic resource, the other ones you go for split biomes and are generally looking for a bunch of other resources, you will find the rarer ones while searching regardless.

Agree with you on this. It's currently my main base due to the resources available and the UT. Great outpost.

Try teirnan 3 for forest and plain biome it will give you poly plants titanium and tungsten plus there are other plants solvent from mem

what is the max amount of outposts you can have with all outpost skills unlocked ?

you can get adhesive and some other things i dont recall, but adhesive is the main one, in gargarin, right in the alpha centauri system.

How close together can you build multiple bases on the same planet, might be useful if you can get 3 or 4 within walking jumping range

If you get attacked a lot then circle your base in solid storage and keep 1 opening and thats where you put your turrets :)

Bessel III-b has iron, aluminum, cobalt and nickel all in the same spot...
Did you mean 3b
@@TAPriceCTR Yep, not sure why I typed 5 when I was thinking 3 and I forgot about the b all together. Thanks I corrected it.
It also has the best time ratio. 1 hour equals over 57 UT hours.
what do you do when all the civilians disappear from the outpost? its like they abandoned it!!

I have enough room still that I could almost put 2 more landing pads with ship builders.
The civilian Outpost I found on Venus has two vendors behind the counter
