Hey Stefan, tell Felix to step it up. I’ve got a JS-3 (SN 216) leaving the factory soon and need my Cobra trailer to be built and shipped to arrive in time.
Super interesting for those of us unable to be onsite. This presentation certainly could expand into a follow up. My usual little gripe is that the dominating german manufacturers use their own language as a primary way to convey their ideas to the rest of us who are mostly versed in english and this limits our quest for information greatly . I think all displays should use english as the main language ( with german translation ) to reach the international gliding community. Nevertheless, I am always thrilled to see progress in the gliding world , the foundation of flying . Thank you Stefan ! Danke Schön !
Maybe the "international gliding community" should have some brain capacity left and start to learn some German too ? / Germany is the Center of plane production.... = that's a simple fact !
Does anyone know more about the gliding computer shown between 01:00 and 01:10? Is it just a concept or is it something that might be available soon? Looks pretty cool :)
First of all, it's great that so many manufacturers are now focussing on electric drives. I'm curious to see how long Lange Aviation will keep its lead with its battery technology. It's a pity that you didn't ask the manufacturers about battery capacities, preheating, charging start via mobile phone, etc.
HAPPY TO SEE THESE ALL🛩️IT'S REALLY GOOD TO KNOW & IT'S REALLY MOTIVATION TOO👌YOU'RE THE WORLD BEST INVENTOR🏆FLY MORE ❤MAKE MORE VIDEOS TO WATCHING YOU 🙂 BEST OF LUCK🎉
I have the HPH 304MS AND WISH FOR A STEERABLE TAIL WHEEL. HPH has a retrofit for my glider. Did any of their ships there have a steerable tail? If they did, what does it look like? Picture? Bruce Patton
Do they make a sailplane that uses the electric motor to recharge the batteries, you would think on a day with good life you could charge up some cheat for later on the way home.
Soaring birds flap their wings. Their is no problem with that. Most of these gliders can be ordered without the proplusion. Then there is tailboom space for landout camping gear, if you prefer that.
SZD 55 is a CLUB CLASS glider, Stefan!!!!!!!! Maybe do a little bit of homework before you present stuff - this all seemed very ad-hoc and uninformative........... just glossing over things apart from Cobra trailers and who cares about the trailer??????
Crazy program from achleitner! Thanks very much for this little tour, Hope to sée a little more please ! 👏👍🤯
Thank you Stef , you are a nice guide, specially for new profile project, very interesting.👍👍👍
Thank you for your videos, Stefan, Though I am no longer actively soaring, your videos help keep my passion for the great sport of soaring alive.
Amazing Stefan. A BIG Thanks for that nice video. It just feels that I was present at the exhibition my self. 🙂
Leading edge flap and the glass cockpit look very interesting.
Hey Stefan appreciate U covering the show in such a detail. Very helpful . Thanks from 🇮🇳 Bharat / India

Min 1:08 shows what appears to be a glass control panel. Can we hear more about this?
Thank you for the video. What is the model of the ultra light glider that you show at 09:05 (13.5m with fes)?
schön mal Andis neuen Elektro Ventus zu sehen. Ein paar mehr Infos dazu wären sicher interessant gewesen. Maximale Steighöhe etc. ?

1:07 which glider is it? Would love to hear a bit more details about it
it's a modified JS3, most likely just a concept for now without certification
Can you spent more time on the 35Mi, maybe talking to Uli about all new features?
Thank you for your work....

SZD will be able to retrofit the existing 55. So I am frankly waiting to get my SZD-Retrofitted
Hope to do that also.
06:49 that control panel though, why so big?!
Prototype?
1:15 What‘s the battery capacity of the Ventus e? How many metres of altitude do I gain with optimum climb rate in standard atmospheric conditions?
how tall are you Stefan? I'm 6'1" 185cm, it would be helpful to know to size the gliders I see you in.
I‘m 180cm tall. 185 cm should still work fine in most gliders.
1:30 Ventus e: Where‘s the plugin to recharge the battery?

Did guys from Karlsruhe show their flying wing glider?
You have not shown the HPH booth. Didn’t they bring any innovations to AERO?
E version of the Shark - uses same system as Ventus E by the looks of it............
Thanks!
Does any electric glider have the ability to recharge the battery from a windmilling propeller when needed to dump lift.
Doubt they could get much regen. If you look at the breaking regen on cars it's tiny
21:50 Who will build the first double flap sailplane, an Akaflieg or a glider manufacturer?
Do you specifically mean a slat or any type of two flaps?
@@Teverwin I am talking about the first glider with the new concept. Who will build it?
It will probably not be an Akaflieg
@@johannesachleitner912 More bloody likely it will be.............

What about HPH?
great :)
Need the batteries to be not just disconnectable, but the ability to jettison these chinese fireworks in case of battery failure.
🤗🤗🤗🤗💯💯💯💯
My mom was there but i wasn't because of school😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
Next year I will be there again 🤙🏼
Anyone here please tell me how to become so successful that you don't have to worry about anything else!!! 💯😢
$500K monthly is something you should feel differently about.....
Have a 'rich dad'............
I’m the first to comment
I noticed there were no women pilots, I might have missed.
So sad that I didn’t see a single “glider” without a motor….just a bunch of “airplanes”.

They're trying to show off new tech. Most of that will be in engines.
