Glad you made this video, I recently started doing carpet cleaning and didn’t want the risk of spending thousands to start out, so I bought this machine and a orik. Had good results so far but definitely takes a lot of time to do large rooms and houses.

I started with the big green. Initially paid around $400 for it new, soon after found a used one for $60. Returned the new one and stuck with the used. You’re completely right about time consumption with this machine. But eventually you learn to work faster by implementing different steps and tools. The oreck definitely pairs well with it. I believe the biggest draw back on the bissell is the weak water pressure, as far as suction goes, it has a pretty powerful dual stage vac. I now have several portables and one very strong ETM. But I’ll still use my bissell on certain jobs. What I find them useful is for VLM. instead of using several pads to remove layers of soil on heavy soiled areas, I’ll do some vaccum type passes with the bissell, then I’ll pad clean. Since the bissell doesn’t really over saturate the carpets, they still dry pretty quickly. I have some videos on a few jobs I used the big green on my channel.

I checked out some of your videos, you do an awesome job!
I always say it has less to do with the tool, and more the man that's using it.
