Great video! We get so many phone calls on the basic fireplaces failing that came with their homes. The HNG fireplaces last a long time and get used way more.

So far the majestic fireplaces have been great. No issues at all.
Napoleon on the other hand we have stopped installing. Customer service and warranty parts for us was terrible.

You talked a lot....... about how bad base grade is but it isn't even turned on to compare. You never talked about the one on the lower right side of your. I just installed one that has crappy looking fire . Very symmetrical. Looks like 2 candles centered exactly on each side. So ugly. Trying to find my options out besides spending another $3000.

I agree that turning them onto compare and contrast would’ve made for a much more compelling video. It’s one thing to say that other models are bad, but videos that do this more effectively highlight exactly why, and considering you have the models next to you it would’ve been nice to see the difference. That said I appreciate the insight provided and it’s clear you know your stuff.

I'm here because I HATE my Heat N Glo. The glass holders pop off, the paint failed, the control unit breaks, it won't light (cobwebs? ghosts? who knows?). I just want something that will work. That said, I have learned a lot about how to install igniters, how to stick needles down the gas hole, how to install new control units and new blowers.
