Im like three years late to this party, but im curious, Can you prevent an infinite amount of damage with Deadeye navigator, and Cloud of Faeries by blocking with Cloud of Faeries and then using the soulbind to exile and resummon Faeries to fizzle out that combat damage and block another creature infinitely?
I forgot Pariah was a card! I need to abuse it and use it on a Stuffy Doll. ♥ No one I know in my play group uses decent enchantment removal anyway. This is bloody brilliant, thank you for reminding me. I will name the deck "Stop hitting yourself." ;)
I actually built a whole deck around damage prevention/indestructible/and boardwipes. With a splash of mill in there. I have most of the cards you mentioned in the video. I want my opponents to be like wtf and quit
I only have a problem with the fact that a majority of my friends have more than their fair share of exile cards that would seriously disrupt those combos
Man i liked the series, btw great job on the video, its gonna help me counter red decks :D . Btw i wonder is it possible to have 5 unlimited counterspell combos? Same reason too, need a way to counter red aggro spell decks
combo 2. add a regeneration effect and a Dead-Iron Sledge ….. will make people think twice about attacking you. for a offenceive approach, same setup and add a Lure. make it even worse, Lure with a effect that makes lands in creatures till end of turn, swing one creature with the sledge. lol,
1 massive issue with these is that they are easy to remove and as it isn't a win condition it is likely your opponent will be able to get around it and just kill you
Also, you may want to revisit the infinite damage combo video as the 4th combo has spiked in value with modern coco decks now running devoted druid in the combo builds
indestructible does not mean not able to destroy: a simple -4-4 instant would kill an "indestructible" but I am going to think about getting those cards
Indestructible literally means not able to be destroyed. However you can still remove creatures through Exile or reducing their toughness to 0 or less, when this happens the creature is removed as a state based action, technically not destroyed. You can also sacrifice an indestructible creature, again this does not destroy it but it does get removed and goes to the graveyard.
Thank you for making me understand! It's such a great game, right now I am rebuilding my blue-red experimental deck and having so much fun with your videos in the background! Great videos! Best speed, voice and explanations
Great Video But you should mention that in combo 2 "Palace Possession", creatures with trample can damage you, if they have higher power as your creatures thoughness. Because they only need to assign this amount of damage to your creature and the rest of it goes through.
Ok so these are basicly step 1 have a creature that can block everything or will take all the damage the prevent all damage delt to it, this really wasnt needed as there are so many abilitys that do this, for example redirecting all damage to fogbank or better yet just have fogbank be able to block everything, after the 1st 2 i got the basic idea not that difficult
For damage prevention you could use stuffy doll with either pariah or pariah shield
Dude I love this series, it's really helpful.
Glad you liked it Kodiak!
you guys rock!!!!!!
Gee man, thanks :)
Someone needs to make a deck list with as many of these as possible
Mono green prevention combo: elderscale worm, and dark steal Platte :)
wither damage murders the Myr and many indestructibles
Correct, so does infect damage, exile effects and bounce effects will also get rid of indestructible creatures.
Question, for “palace possession”.... wouldn’t trample bleed over?
Yeah against trample it wouldn't do much.

I'm surprised there's no Solemnity with Phyrexian Unlife on this list.
You should not be, neither of those cards is $1 or less.
Oh. I thought it was just your slogan. My bad.
It is our slogan Kieran, so we have to stick to it ;).

Haha that sounds like a brutal thing to do. That will teach them for not having enough enchantment removal! ;)

for the indesctructable darksteel myr, what about stuffy doll?
Stuffy Doll is over a $1 so we can't use it.
Funny that you made this, I just tested my edh deck and it needs these combos 😄😂
I even have most of these!
Let us know how they do in your playgroup ;),
I only have a problem with the fact that a majority of my friends have more than their fair share of exile cards that would seriously disrupt those combos
Yeah there is no such thing as a uncounterable strategy in magic. Probably for the best.
Awesome!
Man i liked the series, btw great job on the video, its gonna help me counter red decks :D . Btw i wonder is it possible to have 5 unlimited counterspell combos? Same reason too, need a way to counter red aggro spell decks
Thanks for the complement! That's a good one, we will add it to our to do list ;).
great combos just beware of languish or black sun's zenith
True! There are always ways around lock downs.
Love it, can't wait to try all of them! Any you can think of for B, U or G? (Don't care about R). Cover those in a part 2 perhap! Thanks!
Amazing!

what about fear
Angel of flight alabaster can also bring back the kami of false hope.
Correct! That's even better ;).
Budget MTG Decks you can replace palisade giant with shielded by faith
Budget MTG Decks and you can replace kami of false hope with spore frog :D
Can you make a video on how to prevent infinite life loss??
We will see what we can do ;).
All this White makes me think of a deck, lol win conditions approach sun and mech pro....

These are not meant to win you competitive games. This series is just fun little combo's, that is all.
Great videos! Don't forget to like!
Thanks for the like!
Was expecting stuffydoll/pariah lol
Unfortunately Stuffy Doll is over a $1 so we can't use it.

No problem! Happy to be of service and also happy to be in the background while you are building your decks ;).
Great Video

That is absolutely correct! We did forget to mention that...
But doesn't the prevention of combat damage from Ghostly Possession stop trample from going over the creature's toughness?
Most of them won’t work against infect
Cool

Sorry to hear that you found these too simple. Do you have suggestions for combos which you would like to see?
Did not like it, seems too narrow of a topic and more like cute synergies.
Sorry to hear that Askold. Do you have some suggestions for combos which you would enjoy more?
