I have Aspergers and I can for sure say that Reacher is on the spectrum because I recognize so much of his mannerisms in me

Use some self-awareness and take your own advice. They hardly talked about tactics. Most of the video is just them providing commentary for entertainment. They even said they like the show overall.

Reacher books(and the adaptations) are fun entertainment, but keep in mind that they’re mostly from the 90s and 2000s written by a British guy who very much wrote what he thought would sell.
I'm pretty sure Lee Childs has said in interviews that he was surprised that more people weren't put off by how unrealistic Jack Reacher is -- he's a giant who is absurdly jacked, but he's also super quick, has unbelievable situational awareness and recall, etc., so he's basically a unicorn or a male Mary Sue. Childs said he wrote Reacher to be larger than life, and that a lot of it was inspired by the legends of American military men. If you just accept that Reacher is gifted in everything but human interaction and personal relationships, the series gets a lot more fun.
Reacher is a lot of fun. The way I think about it is that it's a modern and more down to earth take on Superman. A man's fantasy, essentially. When I look at it that way, I just let my brain go. And it's fine. But then, Superman was never portrayed as particularly intelligent.
Looking forward to more Reacher and Seal Team.

If this was about him being a super hero then way better show, or how he went into a radiated filled room on deployment and this is the reason he knows everything about everything then again this would be a way better show

Just saw your guys' vid with Tyler Grey and love all the vids with Reuben. I think it would be a great idea to do an occasional guest episode of B&B with mutuals in the SOF space. It would be sick to see y'all have on SOF brothers from the other branches (like Garand Thumb & the Savage Actual crew) and breakdown either new stuff or watch their favorite show/movie depicting their branch and see what interesting or hilarious stories you guys drum up.
I'm looking forward to more Seal Team and any episodes of The Unit which show good tactics that you could compare to real life situations.

Echo III might be a decent show, I enjoyed it. It's an Apple show that ran for one season (the story wraps up in that season). It's based around a woman who gets kidnapped on the Colombia/Venezuela border, HRT rescue attempt goes bad, etc. I was impressed with it's grounded approach and realism.
Couldn't watch the show because how it was filmed. Camera zoomed in too much and shaking all the time.

Absolutely keep on reviewing this series. I loved this show. However, there were a couple things I caught like how they had just one guard there in processing two dudes with one being twice as big as him. Not likely. Pretty sure there are regulations against that. I like hearing the things you guys point out that I didn't see. It helps having "professional" and mostly sober viewpoints. On a side note, Lee Child said he regrets making Reacher an officer. He said in an interview he probably should have made him a warrant officer instead.
Another fun video! here are a few observations: Reacher definitely has some Rain Man in him, because the Cruise Reacher established he basically has a photographic memory (e.g. remembering the serial number on a gun); Abel TRT is LITERALLY STEROIDS; and finally, don't you SF guys have any commentary about SF tactics clearing flirty, half naked women from hotel rooms (e.g. I have to think the SF move is NOT to sleep on the floor).
Y'all should do Jack Ryan. I made it one episode into that show before I quit. Their military advisor either failed hard or was completely ignored 😂

I can't remember if it's in the show, but in the books he even knows internally what time it is. Like he can just wake up in a windowless room with no clock and know that it's about 6:13pm. He's like a hero you'd make up when you were 5.
It's actually a huge black pill that so many people like this show and think it's realistic and inspiring

Skip this season and jump to season 2 to review. Way more tactics and whatnot to review in that season bc he’s reunited with members of his team and he’s not running solo. Reacher S2 - Action Wise - was pretty frickin great.

I don't usually make rationales, but regarding the rebooted Reacher series, we get background of him and his brother in various locales/military bases. While we don't see them hunting, tracking, survival, etc., we see them being pretty fit children and massive muscled adults. He also mentions experience with martial arts. Plus, given who the two Reachers are, its not improbable that their off-school child playtime involved military stuff. His record indicated he was clearly exceptionally good at fugitive hunting, suggesting outdoor skills including tracking (depending on where the military base was). My grandfather (WW2 vet), taught me Orienteering and I was in clubs and tournaments (I was usually the only girl), and it's not that hard.
Regarding Roscoe kicking in the door and taking first spot, first, its her gun. Second, it's her house. Third, she is a trained cop. If she wants to go first, she gets to. To see that this is the correct answer, change Roscoe to male and Reacher should actually step back and let Mr. cop take lead. Now, if Reacher had been in SOCOM and been a door kicker in Fallujah or something, that would change the equation, though I still think Reacher would let Mr. cop take lead if he wanted (again, trained cop, his gun, his house). Right?

If you haven't read the book (Killing Floor), read it. Season 1 follows the book...mostly; but there is a lot of differences. There are good things about the book and good things about the series.
Also, I saw an interview with Allan and he was saying they were trying to figure out how to tell the story so they made a lot of mistakes; but they corrected some of the mistakes in Season 2.

He goes from this level of awareness and investigative ability in season 1...to being useless and dependent upon his team in season 2. I like the show as well, but it's things like this that make it stumble.
I think the green beret turned actor you’re referring too maybe Jeff Bosley. He had a small role in season 1 of SEAL Team. And of course he was in Sniper Special Ops. Remember, the guy with the shitty tattoo?

There are like 25 FICTIONAL books about this character. Going on and on about realistic tactics 100 percent isn’t the point. I want you to finish this series though it’s one of my favorites. And y’all are funny as hell
