The same story can be told in multiple different ways and multiple different tones depending on the director. 12th fail reminds you of the cinema of an earlier era plus did you watch the cinematography of the movie. There are some of the best shots in Hindi cinema of 2023

Navi is getting on my nerves man. Firstly, the gun dealer was not speaking Telugu, he was speaking Marathi. Also, how did you come to the conclusion that the mother, Jyoti, was not Hindu? Her name clearly suggests she was. Also, the Sikh older brother & Hindu middle brother is not weird at all. It's quite common, especially in the older generations in Punjab for 1 brother to be Sikh & another to be a Hindu. Also, not all Sikhs are baptized (wear turbans), there are many "Cut-Sikhs" too. And also it's extremely common for many Punjabi Hindu & Punjabi Sikh families to uphold traditions of both faiths. For example, my family is Punjabi Hindu, and they pray to Hindu gods as well as have a Guru Granth Sahib at home, marriages in our family happen in Gurudwaras instead of doing the Hindu Agni Pheras.

To me, the ending scene of Ranvijay's son running towards him, shows that his son is just like him. Which is why Geetanjali was crying like she was. Like lil bro ran out of a almost moving car and zoomed towards his dad.
