YOU ARE THE GOAT BRO I'VE WATCHED YOUR ENTIRE STATICS, DYNAMICS, AND NOW THERMODYNAMICS SERIES AND THEY HAVE BEEN SO INSANELY HELPFUL TO ME I ALWAYS RECOMMEND THESE VIDEOS TO MY FRIENDS. Sorry for the capslock lol but I just needed to express my gratitude to you bro you've literally been the biggest help in my engineering degree!
YOU ARE VERY WELCOME! Honestly, thanks for taking the time to write a comment like this, it makes me really happy to know these videos helped (which is why I made them in the first place.) I wish you the best with your studies, keep up the awesome work and I hope you become a great engineer!
I feel so privileged that i found your channel , when i was taking statics course. Since then i've always come back here for help with dynamics and now thermo as well.Thank you!🎉🙏
This is best explanation of this cycle I have ever found. It seems so obvious that this is the best way to explain it. Yet it is never done. Thank You.
Ive learned the heat transfer and thermodynamics course long time ago, almost forgot about carnot cycle and some basic process until see your video. So amazing, simply and fully
I have never been as confident in my engineering program as I am after watching your videos. You make me feel like I can solve anything! Thank you very much for your hard work
Are you asking if the temperature of the reservoirs don't change? If so, then they do not change, it's theoretically maintained to be constant. @@yigitcan824
I haven't watched it yet, I want to watch it after hours, but I already liked and shared it because I know that it is helpful video thank you very much teacher, and I will not get tired of thanking you for the time you dedicate to us and the development of our knowledge and minds, thank you teacher.
Thank you very much, I really appreciate it. Your words made my day! You are a very nice person and I wish you the absolute best in everything you do. :)
Have you heard of the Karno generator from Hyliion? They are claiming 90-95% heat efficiency paired with a linear generator claiming 50% electrical efficiency. They say they are able to achieve the heat efficiency because of additive manufacturing allowing them to make very complex heat exchangers and parts for flameless oxidation. My question is, is this type of efficiency even possible? Hopefully the Karno piques your interest because I would love to see a video theoretically breaking it down and explaining how it works and if those numbers are even possible. Cheers!
For the last example (~ 11:30) I thought it was only for a Carnot engine that the efficiency is a function of the reservoirs temperatures (TL and TH). So shouldn’t the efficiency be 1- (ql/qh)
Hand up! All 4 procrsses have FORCE to slowly pull and push piston all along the processes, Right? If yes, big thanks to you. I've been stucked here for many years.
Force, yes, but it doesn't have to always be an "external" force. For example, when the gas expands, that creates a force on the piston, but that's not like someone is pulling the piston from the outside, it's done by the gas itself.
can you please elaborate in the 1st step you said the gas is allowed to expand , without transfering heat or pulling the piston outside the gas can expand at first
in last question is our heat engine is reversible or not/ because u use efficiency formula of reversible to find TL. or we can use it always anytime for any heat engine
All the problems in this set are about Carnot engines/ reversible engines. You can only use the efficiency formula of reversible engines on just reversible engines.
Most of the time, it will state that it's a reversible engine, or a Carnot engine. If it doesn't, you can compare the efficiencies as shown at 8:30 using the efficiency equation for any heat engine.@@numankashif6158
Sirrrr I have a question. I'm confused. How did you derived on the unit kW in second problem? The answer there is in kW unit. Please answer this huhu ASAP
You were the only person who was able to explain this so simply! Took me 2years of studying this just for me to learn everything in a 10min video
I am really happy to hear this video helped you. Thank you for taking the time to write your comment, it was really nice!

@@muhammadhussain356 Actually, he was so good with the dynamics and statics too
And now thermodynamics
this is so underrated, simple explanation, no complexities, love every part of the video! thank you!
Thank you very much, I really appreciate your comment. Glad to hear this was easy to follow :)
I have my thermodynamics final exam 11 hours form now. This video came in just the right time!
Glad to hear! I wish you the best with your exam, do your best :)

Better than a 2hr lecture
He's back!! I've been using your videos again, I will definitely use this video in the near future, as I am restudying thermodynamics
I hope it's helpful to you. Best wishes with thermodynamics.

Well, that's because you CAN solve anything. I am really glad these videos help you out, and I wish you the best with your studies.
Looking forward to see more videos from you professor, they are so helpful for us!!😊
I am glad to hear that :) Keep up the great work!
@@QuestionSolutions Hi again I have another question here. Are _heat addition_ and _heat rejection_ *isothermal* in carnot cycle?

I am not sure, I'd have to look into it. Though what you said did pique my curiosity. Thanks for sharing!
Hope you know what you're doing matters a lot. How many videos are there left of the thermodynamics playlist?
Thank you very much. I am not sure how many are left, maybe 3 or 4.

Nevermind I tried the other way (equating the efficiency of the Carnot to that of a regular one to give you (qh/ql)=(th/tl) and it’s the same andwer

Why is the area under the pv graph not zero as work is done in opposite direction hence the should cancel out right??
Can you give me a timestamp so I know where you're referring to? Thanks!
Hell yeah another video 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉

when its reversed 6:52 it turns out to be a refrigerator right?
Yes, that's right.

1 watt = 1 J/s. From there, you should be able to derive kJ/min to kW. Let me know if you are unable and I will help.
ive a final tommorow is there any other upcoming video today regarding this topics
There are other videos coming up, but none before your final if it's tomorrow :( Do your best and I hope you do well!
