  • Alberta Premier Danielle Smith speaks at Calgary’s Max Bell Theatre to highlight a provincial budget investment of $103 million over seven years to fund the transformation of the city’s arts scene though projects at the Arts Commons and Olympic Plaza.
She is joined by Tanya Fir (minister of arts, culture and status of women), Chantelle de Jonge (MLA for Chestermere-Strathmore), Alex Sarian (president and CEO of Arts Commons), and Stafford Arima (artistic director of Theatre Calgary).
