Lovely video. Just misses that critical part of the connection between the end of the monorail and getting to the Yamanote line. Otherwise very useful.
You did a good job on that video. Thank you. It will help us a lot going to Tokyo in Oct for the first time. We will be arriving at Haneda International Airport at 10.30 pm. Our hotel is near Nishi-Shinjuku. What time is the last Monorail from Haneda Int. to Shinjuku station please? How do we connect to Shinjuku Station please?
I’m arrive at 10pm in Haneda airport and need to get to Hotel Gracery and have 10people in my group. What is best route to get their from airport? Does metro still running that late? By time I check out and get luggage’s might be 11pm.
is it worth it to get the JR pass? or it's only worth it when travelling between major cities like Tokyo to Osaka to Hirsohima, etc. What if I'm visiting Tokyo or Osaka only (i.e., subways + buses only)
If your staying in Tokyo a JR Pass is not good value. Get yourself a Suica Card instead (in Osaka you will need a ICOCA Card). If you plan on travelling between cites on the Shinkansen a JR Pass provides very good value. You will have to do the math on how many trips you will need to take to get your money back. You need to note that a JR Pass is not usable on the super express Shinkansen (NOZOMI). The slower Shinkansen takes much longer and is only good if you are not returning the same day i.e. a multi city stop-over trip. Also luggage space can be in short supply on the Shinkansen. Both Suica and Icoca can be used on all buses and subways. Hope this helps
Amazing
