Thanks for your video. I have an 8 hour layover in Haneda next month and planned to visit Tokyo briefly. I saw a video about taking the Monoroail from Haneda to Hamamatsucho and transferring to the JR Yamanote line to Tokyo station. I also planned to do the reverse to return back to Haneda. What's the difference between taking the Tokyo Sation to Hamamatsucho (Monorail) back to Haneda vs taking the Tokyo Station-Shinegawa-Keikyu-Haneda route?
Thanks for watching! There is no difference. Monorail will get you to Haneda in 38min from Tokyo Sta, Keikyu Line 45min. Monorail will cost you 670JPY from Tokyo Sta, Keikyu Line 510JPY. Personally I prefer taking the monorail, because of the view and luggage sapce.
Thank you so much for this information! My trip is next month and I found a whole bunch of videos on how to get to Tokyo from the different airports, but none on how to get back to the airport. This has been really helpful. My only question is about luggage. Are their limits to what type of luggage you can take on the trains?
@@wearelostinjapan I tried to find so many videos or vlogs of people buying or even showing where the ticket booth is in the Shibuya station Hachiko exit. I can’t seem to find one!
hi! thanks so much for the detailed guide! may i ask? i'll be from asakusa, and if i take the subway train, i'll be dropping off at Sengakuji station. will the transfer be the same? as the station has KK Line. and instead of paying for tickets, will IC/Suica card works fine?
Whew! Thank you so much for this info. But, we will be going to Haneda airport directly from Shinagawa station having just gotten off the Shinkansen from Kyoto. Is the ticket cost to Haneda airport 300 yen? Thank you again for your help. This will be our first time traveling internationally.
Hello thanks for watching the video! Kyoto sounds great!! and YES! Get a ticket for 300yen to Shinagawa and then go directly to exit gate, not the gate on the video! That was the gate for transfer to normal JR lines. If you have more questions, feel free to reply!
oh sorry for the confusion. We will be at the Shinagawa station after arriving from Kyoto and I just needed to know if the train ticket from Shinagawa to Haneda is 300yen. I’m assuming we will need to go to the gate in the video in order to catch a Keikyu Line train to Haneda.
So nice of you! It will help my better half getting back to the airport safely and without any stress, thank you so much! :-)

Thank you for watching the video. In the case of trains, I think one large trunk is the limit.
Would I do the same ticket option from Shibuya Station to Haneda Terminal 3?
Yes it's the same but ticket fare is different. It's 510yen from Shibuya.

@@tamarahobispo Finding ticket vending machine at Shibuya Station is super easy. It's just in front of the gate!
Thank you for the video. Can I use an ICcard instead of buying a ticket from Tokyo station to Haneda airport?
Hi! Thanks for watching! Yes you can use IC card!
Honestly so much easier, idk why taking a bus from tokyo station to the airport seems so much more difficult 😂 normally the buses are the easy way lol

Hi! Thanks for watching! There’s a direct line from Asakusa to Haneda airport. So you u don’t have to transfer! and yes suica works fine!
@@wearelostinjapan a direct line? oh! which station should i be getting off then? the subway's map seems rather confusing 😅
Can I take the Keikyu line if I have the Suica or Passmo card? Thanks!
Thanks for watching!
Yes Suica and Pasmo will work!
@@wearelostinjapan Thanks 👌

Yay! Thank you so much!
