Playstation All Stars is the one franchise on this list that I wanted to succeed. Okay, its riddled with issues. The KO system didn't work, the game felt unpolished, it didn't debut with enough characters out of the gate, and speaking of characters they picked some real oddballs. All that said, I think a second game that is given enough time in the oven and adds enough good content could have been a worthy competitor to the Smash Bros. franchise.

So let me get this straight, we stopped working on FF15's DLC so we can make a new game, it gets mediocre reviews, memed to hell and back, and oh yeah, IT GETS OUT-PERFORMED BY HI-FI RUSH! A B-GAME THAT WAS SHADOW-DROPPED THE SAME DAY FORSPOKEN WAS RELEASED! Ok, yeah, that is something we do now: Spend 5 years to release a game that kills a studio, we're probably getting laid-off next.
I quite enjoyed 1886, Knack 2 and concrete Genie but I didn’t buy any of them day 1. Concrete Genie was on PS Plus, Knack 2 was discounted at £9 a couple of years ago and I got 1886 pre owned for 10£, finished it In less than a week and traded it back in for about 4£ so essentially I got my moneys worth lol
I remember liking PlayStation All-Stars back when it first came out. Yeah, it’s far from perfect, and I can definitely see its flaws now. But a PlayStation-themed crossover fighting game is honestly not a bad idea, given Sony’s long and rich lineup of exclusive games and characters to draw from. There are a couple of major factors I think really sank PlayStation All-Stars: 1). The game was treated more like a vehicle to advertise new games coming out at the time rather than a means to celebrate PlayStation’s history. It needed characters like Crash Bandicoot and Spyro, characters that played an important role in PlayStation’s history. Instead, we got Big Daddy and Isaac Clarke, characters who really had no business being in a game like this and were only added as walking commercials for their franchise’s newest games. 2). The timing of this game’s release was off. Sony was still at kind of a low point in their history. They were seen as just being a copycat of Nintendo. The PlayStation 3 was the punching bag of the Internet for its steep price tag and for having “no games”. And while PlayStation exclusives were usually excellent, they weren’t as iconic as they are now and certainly not on the same level of fame and popularity as Nintendo’s exclusives (at least not back in 2012). If a game like this came out now, or even back in the PS4 days, I think it might’ve been received a lot better. I’d love to see Sony give PlayStation All-Stars another chance. But I don’t think it’ll ever happen. The only other game on this list I played was Lair, and…yeah, that game sucked.
I have Rogue Galaxy and Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale. The former is no Final Fantasy but I definitely found elements I could enjoy. Its biggest flaw was probably the claim of "no loading screens" -- which was certainly true for its dungeons, but a side effect was the dungeons were MASSIVE layouts with nothing to do but travel & fight enemies. (FF12 suffered this problem a little itself, just not quite as badly)
Poor Rogue Galaxy is right! I absolutely love this game, especially the bug combat mini game. I just wish it had a new game+ because it feels pointless to rein the endgame 100 floor dungeon to get bait for the best bug to only use it in matches at the end. NG+ would have made this much more worthwhile to be able to run through again with a great bug team.
Sony should have let their PlayStation “All Stars” be in Super Smash Bros. It was clear that All Stars was a copycat, even though they did try to be different. Don give me the “their rivals” excuse because Smash Bros does have characters that were only on the PlayStation or not on the Nintendo. Examples: Snake, Bayonetta, Cloud, Sephiroth, Sora.
I did buy The Order: 1886, Knack 2, and Rogue Galaxy all for less than $25. I did play and finished The Order and other 2 games are on my backlog. The Order is worth a playthrough if you haven’t played it yet, imo. It was worth $10 that I paid for.

The voice acting was great, the character models were cute. The painting controls felt good. And the story nearly had me crying in the end. I have games I wish to revisit for my channel, and this is one of them. It did not deserve to die. More people really need to play this. Okay, that's my peace. No one has to agree with me, but you can't tell me otherwise. This is how I feel, and no one's going to change that.
