- Here are ten iconic and heavy metal guitar riffs for you guys! We are looking at some true classics such as Slayer, Pantera, Iron Maiden, Metallica, Megadeth and others like Slipknot, Dragonforce and Rammstein! I wanted the bands to be various which is why there is only one riff per band in this riff list! Also the tunings vary and yes, I played everything on that guitar. How is this possible? @@alexostrovskyi Cannot type in Russian or any other language but...long before there was Metallica or all its copycats...there was Black Sabbath whose prototype sound and playing style after over half a century still maintains its authority that essentially paved the way for all their imitators...Iommi was the original heavy metal riff genius...just listen to their first four albums and you can hear all the musical ground they plowed for everyone else to follow...Zep did it for hard rock...Sabbath for heavy metal...case closed !

"10 iconic metal riffs" now joins "10 Iconic Thrash Riffs" in first position in my "Iconic Jassy Riffs list" as seven of these riffs are actually seven of my all-time-favourite metal songs! The other three I like a lot, I just haven't heard them as much. A special 🤘🤘🤘 for Holy Wars, Raining Blood and The Trooper! Thank you for the inspiration :)

My daughter graduate last year as a music teacher when she was little we listen all this bands together one day she told me she wants a acustic guitar some years later a electric guitar when she finished high school she wanted to became a music teacher. She went 4 years to college and now shes a music teacher Thank to all this grate music.

It was nice to see Dragonforce in the list, Jassy. Du Hast (Rammstein) has a nice riff, as does the Trooper (Iron Maiden), the Priest, and also Megadeth and Metallica. Nice selection of Iconic Riffs.

Hi there, first I want to thank you for all the great covers and riff lists you've put out, I've been following you for quite a while and it keeps getting better ! I wondered if you ever thought of doing riff lists but with a changing difficulty in the same video (something like "easy to difficult metallica riffs" for example), I think that it could be great and inspiring for some people and be fun at the same time. I've been learning/playing guitar for a few years now and sometimes I wish it would be easier to find a progression line and those kind of video would really help some others out there ! Anyway, keep the good work !

I do love Iron Maiden and love to play them, These are some great riffs and very welll done. You have gotten me way into Metallica, it's not that I wasn;t but Maiden was my go to to play. Soince I've been watching your channel I've learned half a dozen Letallica songs and loved every minute of it. Cheers! Great wekend to all...Off to learn more songs.
