It works so well for me that it's all I use for stains. I also keep the Dawn squirt bottles in the laundry room and bathroom. That's usually where I need it!
To prevent mold and build up in those types of washing machines (I'm in the Netherlands so they are normal here) 1 never close the door fully when it's not in use 2 ease up on the liquid detergent softening stuff or even better don't use any 3 use white vinegar instead of the softening stuff, you don't need much. It will degrease, de mold, kill bacteria and helps with smells. Just don't overdo it as it can damage the machine.
I do this. Vinegar for softener. At least a ¼ of the liquid detergent they tell you, if not less. I use the wool balls in the dryer and no longer use dryer sheets.
I use a rag to wipe up that part of the machine and the interior too, then leave it ajar. if it tries something funny, it just goes away with a universal cleaning wet wipe or antibacterial one... pretty standard. Also, what do you mean by "liquid detergent softening stuff"? Do you mean liquid detergent, liquid water softener ( like Calgon, for example), or fabric softener?
I have the damp duster at home from scrub daddy and it’s insane!!!! I can never get the cat hair off the top of my toilet and that thing changed that!!! It’s incredible!
Rachel, on any berry or dark fruit boiling water makes it disappear. You usually have you before you wash it though so maybe you’re staying clean or is good since you already washed the shirt a couple times. On things with protein, chocolate milk, things like that cold water gets those blood, but on dark fruits and grapes and wine dark wine use Boiling hot water. Good luck oh and it’s free.
Rachel do you have front loader washing machine? There is a magnet product on Amazon that holds the front door open but not too open where it’s in the way. Really helps with the moldiness. Might be a good one to test 🤓
In my 20s and loving seeing these cleaning videos and decorating and learning anything and everything house DIY or outside and if nothing else in my life right now going great these types of videos and asmr 👌🏻 all I need; thanks Rachel 🩷😘💁🏻♀️ Much love, as always, ~ Mila 👒
5:14 I absolutely hate the feeling but microfibre cloths are the way to go to clean glass, does not matter what glass it is. Car windows, bathroom mirror, phone screen.
I have found the Fels-Naptha laundry bar to work the best, even on old stains. It might require 2-3 washings if really old, set in stains, but have yet to have a stain defeat it! 😊
Big Thank you Rachel and Emily for once again pulling out another absolutely awesome video as always your videos never disappoint us all and I absolutely love watching Rachel testing out products so we don't have to buy them so thank you very much Rachel for taking the time out to do all these awesome videos as always you put in a 💯 percent in every single video that you post and i would like to take the time out to appropriate all the hard work that you put into making all these awesome videos as well you are a absolutely fantastic person with a heart of gold 💛 and so is Emily as well 💛and I hope Abbie is keeping well she is a absolutely fantastic person as well with a heart of gold as well💛 I hope the dogs 🐕🐕🐕 and cat 🐈are keeping well...,,
Rachel having a Screen Daddy wrapped around (or stuck to) her fingers made her t-shirt teed off that the Screen Daddy was more fatherly when it came to cleaning phone screens.
For any grease or oil stains, all you gotta do is apply some baby powder (or talc powder) generously. Pat it on there n leave overnight or a few hours, then just brush it off n tadaa, gone! You're welcome 😂 The powder just soaks up the oil n it comes right off 😁 It works even if you've washed it a few times.. Ive saved many clothes using this hack 😅😅😅
Look up vibrating scrub brushes they kinda look like an electric toothbrush but there called the Rubber Maid Reveal and look different than an electric toothbrush! They work amazingly well!!!!! I love them so much!!!!! 😁
If you have a stain on something and you wash it and then put it in the dryer without checking to see if the stain is gone, the dryer will set the stain so that nothing will get it out once it’s been through the dryer just an FYI
I hate the feel of microfiber clothes gross me out too...just Ick! I dropped military grade ink on a pair of white leggings and used Shout spray gel and a scrub brush and it came completely out. It works on pretty much every stain I've ever used it on.
Lestoil is what my mom has use my whole life, it works on almost every Thing. Permanent marker doesn't come out easy but that's to be expected. It's called "permanent " for a reason
Try rubbing Dawn dish soap on the grease stains of your cotton shirt, then wash your shirt as normal,I’ve gotten old oily stains out of many shirts this way. It has to be Dawn not the knockoffs. 🙂🐈🐈⬛💖🌈
I got so confused for a second because another youtuber tested that exact sponge thing recently as well and for a moment I thought it was you and you forgot lol
Best stain remover is Zote brand bar soap. Walmart has it for $1.25. there's original and for whites and nothing works better. Even for older stains that have been there for ages. Get the spot wet and rub the bar on the spot, throw in the wash and boom no stains!! Keeps socks really white too if you use the for whites bar.
I wonder if that sponge would work on an LCD screen? Mine's so gunked up that it took me a second to realize how well the sponge worked on your wall/base board.
Those types of natural soap bars are available in my country for yeaaaaars takes me back to my childhood 😂 also am i the only one who uses bleach to clean and disinfect the bathroom? Also im autistic and i haaaaate the feeling of microfiber and certain other fabrics but i guess i just forced myself to accutom myself to it despite dispising it. But i use soap cloth vs paper towels to clean sometimes or pass a fresh cloth rinse wrang and clean and then let it dry because using paper towels won't do anything to something you know will leave a stain or is already dried up? Also i was diagnosed very late but i digress. Just note most things are just bottled up in a different thing andabelled specific fpr this but if you pay attention to the ingredients is just the same shiz bottled up and marketed differently. Most 99% are ionic surfactants in almost all the cleaning products vs sodium hypochlorite which is bleach so just use bleach and soap and water and sometimes extra baking soda accordingly and you're good honestly. You don't need much more than that.
I know this doesn’t pertain to the video, but this is another FYI for you if you want to make sure that what you’re washing doesn’t bleed colors into each other use vinegar or salt water and soak it for 20 minutes before you put it in the washing machine and then if you have something that’s two colors the colors won’t bleed together just an
Does a few underwhelming projects and is now a master in the field... u realize it takes more then a drywall patch, nailing up trim and clicking some floor together to actually know what you're doing.. like might as well go remodel a house ur so knowledgeable hell why nit build one.. stick to your day job cuz I'm over hearing about your "projects"
Those sponges for your baseboards, I have an entire mop that uses a much larger version of that sponge and let me tell you: IT IS AWESOME! Best. Mop. Ever! Sadly, it's no longer sold. The company that made it went out of business during COVID. I have ONE refill/replacement sponge for it, but I've been using mine for about five years, and it's still working amazingly well! It arrives "moist" because when they dry out they get ROCK HARD. You just have to soak it in tap-hot water again to revive it. They're great!! And I'm 100% behind you on the microfiber cloths thing...ICK!!! They grab all the tiny little dry skin bits on your hands.....UGH! YUCK!! HATE'M!
Try Dawn dish washing soap to get the grease stains out of your shirt. Usually works for me most of the time.
I came here to say the same. Dawn is the best for grease!
Dawn always works for me too
Yep - was going to comment the same.
It works so well for me that it's all I use for stains. I also keep the Dawn squirt bottles in the laundry room and bathroom. That's usually where I need it!
Thanks for the tip!
You can actually avoid the gunk and the mold in the washingmachine if you leave the door open after wash to air dry 😉

@@m0t0b33 fabric softener is what normally goes into that compartment
That gray sponge is safer on paint than a magic eraser cuz it's less abrasive
I have the damp duster at home from scrub daddy and it’s insane!!!! I can never get the cat hair off the top of my toilet and that thing changed that!!! It’s incredible!

Just got out of a 4 hour exam can’t wait to watch! Love these!
I was rooting for the sponge, I have one and I LOVE IT. It becomes very hard when it dries up. And rehydrates easily.
Also! The sponge will pick up animal hair off couches.
WHAT?!?!?!
Sold. Take my money

Loved this one! I definitely added the gray sponge to my list (along with the FurDozer)!
In my 20s and loving seeing these cleaning videos and decorating and learning anything and everything house DIY or outside and if nothing else in my life right now going great these types of videos and asmr 👌🏻 all I need; thanks Rachel 🩷😘💁🏻♀️

For stains you need to try Folex stain remover! It gets out BLOOD, RUST, WINE, ETC! it is literally THE BEST stain remover I have used!
I bought the furdozer after your last vlog and I love it!❤❤❤❤❤
YES I LOVE MY DAMP DUSTER
Big Thank you Rachel and Emily for once again pulling out another absolutely awesome video as always your videos never disappoint us all and I absolutely love watching Rachel testing out products so we don't have to buy them so thank you very much Rachel for taking the time out to do all these awesome videos as always you put in a 💯 percent in every single video that you post and i would like to take the time out to appropriate all the hard work that you put into making all these awesome videos as well you are a absolutely fantastic person with a heart of gold 💛 and so is Emily as well 💛and I hope Abbie is keeping well she is a absolutely fantastic person as well with a heart of gold as well💛 I hope the dogs 🐕🐕🐕 and cat 🐈are keeping well...,,
Hiii Rachel your truly amazing love you and the fam
I love when you test things, good afternoon, Rachel. I think that magic erasure is cool. I love your channel so much.
Fels-naphtha soap is phenomenal!! You should compare to this one that you got! Also maybe a comparison products video??
I will always watch a Rachel video. Even if it triggers my gag reflex.
RACHEL I LOVE THIS!
The dust sponge works great for cleaning screen doors or window as well. ☺️
The grey sponge thing is a scrub daddy duster. Its great for dusting (obviously) but you need to wet it otherwise it dries up and gets hard
My toddler while Rachel was cleaning: “shoe wee!!!”
Good afternoon Rachel sending you love from Texas😁😁😁
I bought the furdozer bc of your last video. It actually came in tonight and, yeah, it’s awesome!
Rachel having a Screen Daddy wrapped around (or stuck to) her fingers made her t-shirt teed off that the Screen Daddy was more fatherly when it came to cleaning phone screens.
I love my screen daddy so much. Some of my shirts aren’t the right texture to clean my screen and I always have it
I would use that pick it thing for getting dog hair out of Velcro. I usually use a flea comb but have bent all the teeth on my flea comb doing that 😂
I could see those Screen Daddy things being useful in vehicles for those touch screens! 🤨
Dish detergent for oil stains works every time. Just put it directly on the stain let it sit or wash right away.

The scraper is also great for glass stove tops it gets the stuff stuck off
Scrub daddy has a good micro fibre cloth and it doesn’t feel like a normal one and works so well
I never close my front loading washer to prevent mold development. It never has any at all because of that.
If you have a stain on something and you wash it and then put it in the dryer without checking to see if the stain is gone, the dryer will set the stain so that nothing will get it out once it’s been through the dryer just an FYI
Try Shout Advanced on those stains, works wonders IMO
Keep your washer door open when not in use. Then you will bot have mold
Get the baseboard sponges and scraper from Temu less than $1
I hate the feel of microfiber clothes gross me out too...just Ick! I dropped military grade ink on a pair of white leggings and used Shout spray gel and a scrub brush and it came completely out. It works on pretty much every stain I've ever used it on.
Chalk can help with grease stains or the stain devils for grease
I’ve heard Murphy Wood Cleaner Oil is good for oil stains, haven’t used it myself tho! But highly recommended

Sponges are typically damp when you get them. If they weren’t damp they’d be hard as a rock.
I wonder if that sponge would work on an LCD screen? Mine's so gunked up that it took me a second to realize how well the sponge worked on your wall/base board.

For hair use a seam ripper it works a dream
i use sunlight bar soap for stains but it’s hard to find scrub daddy is rolling in money like she said just use your shirt

I wonder if that cleaner on the washer would work on a dish washer
Magic eraser took my paint off.
White wine takes out red wine.
.... what?????
Be careful using any bars of soap w/ an HE washer, even if using it as just a stain remover. They break washing machines.
Oh, I didn’t know that. Why is that?
Hey Rachel
The way she creased her Nikes when she knelt down bothered me a bit.. BUT ILYSM RACHEL!!!❤️❤️❤️
