So true. My very first concert as an early teen in the mid 60's was one my mom took me to featuring Nancy Wilson, vibraphone player Lionel Hampton, and the Si Zentner Orchestra. She was so beautiful and elegant! When we first moved into a new neighborhood in 1959 when I was 9 years old one of my new friends mom and dad had a huge collection of jazz records including many of Ms. Wilson's. That's when I first heard her. Jazz was at it's height and Motown was blowing up. A wonderful time for music. Although I gave away my huge record collection over 25 years ago (I'm now 74) and am not as much into music, I kept all of hers I had bought over the years. Those and Earth, Wind, and Fire :-). On one of the covers she's actually wearing the elegant dress she performed in at the concert we attended. Peace.
I ALWAYS thought, and I STILL do BELIEVE that she and Dionne Warwick were the ULTIMATE!! I am 66yrs old and I'm grateful for what I learned vocally from these 2 MASTERS of 🎵 presentation and delivery. Just exquisite ❤❤😌😌❤💞💞💖💖

Classy lady. My mother introduced me to her when I was such a little girl. Great memories.
Love this song and the Lady who sings it.
I heard her for the first time back in the early 60's on my transistor radio. I was blown away by her voice and still am to this day. I was only 12 years old when I heard her then.
This is my 2nd favorite song by the fabulous Nancy Wilson.

WOW she's Fabulous!!!!
There's a classy lady. I have had the honor of meeting Ms. Wilson on more than one occasion. I played my guitar and as she sang "Almost like being in love" afterwards we sat on a love seat and talked about the music industry life. From the few hours we spent together. I have a iconic friend. She was an elegant down to earth jewel. R.I.P. Ms. Wilson. Thank you
Her phrasing is everything. I can just listen to her sing all night. Go head, Miss Nancy Wilson. I hope everything's ok. Our legends are leaving us. You be well. I love you.....
😪😪😭🙏🏽❤⚘🏵
🗿 In the late (1960s,)
Mom worked as a data processor at the now famous Capital Records building on Vine street, north of Hollywood blvd. As a bonus, employees were given a (record album) or two of their choice, every month. My mother had quite an ECLECTIC collection by 1968. I was first exposed to Nancy Wilson that summer. That was (50) years ago. Thank you, Ms. Wilson. You'll be missed. 💝 (S.F.)
Thank you for the love and class that you left too carry on forever! A role model that expires with respect and loyalty. Again thank you a beautiful golden tone that will ever be set with perfection.
