- This is my drum playthrough of 'Delusion' by www.obsidious-band.com. It´s for sure one of the more complex songs on our debut album "Iconic" and it combines different styles and aesthetics of drumming, reaching from Death to Progressive Metal to Fusion . Anyway, I hope you all like it!

This guy is currently the most interesting death metal drummer IMO. Much needed because most metal is stagnant and boring now. I’m so sick of this 300bpm double strokes trend. People thinking faster is better. This reminds me of 2007 era, back when everybody was innovating and had a unique sound, this dudes dynamics and skill in other genres is what sets him apart, metal is at a point where drummers need to be 3 dimensional, not just fast
All his drumming is so well thought out. His jazz, panzerballet. Really incredible musician.
Drummingwise it reminds me of Bobby Jarzombek´s work on the Spastic Ink albums. Great!!!

For me, it's always Sebastian, Alex Rudinger and David Diepold 👌
Sebastian is probably the most underrated extreme metal drummer. At least in my opinion. Rüdinger, Diepold, etc are impressive sportsdrummers, but Sebastian has that little extra flair and feel, and is not afraid to throw a gospelchop into a tech death metal song. Always interesting 😊
His feel and unique fill patterns put him on another level from nearly everyone else
And he also so musically interpreted drum parts
