This the first genuinely good overnight heartless curl method I’ve seen that looks like it could actually work for someone without natural luscious hair already.
Am I the only one who would wear this just the way it is, except without the bit sticking out in the front, or with a more detailed looking fake horn as part of a costume, because it just looks like such a pretty and voluminous braid?
Nice! I've been using the robe tie method (using a silk cylindar like she uses in the video) with one tie on each side for years. I part the back at an angle to avoid a line in the back, but this looks more comfortable, less likely to cause breakage AND I think the curl placement is better. Today is wash day so I'm going to give it a shot today!!
I would try two of these and roll them inwards to each other, kind of like Victory Rolls but going down the entire center of the head instead of just the front. 🤔💕

since you’re sleeping in it, your hair kind of takes the shape of the rod and makes the curls. i do recommend using hairspray after taking them out in the morning!
I have sislocs that are waist length and my hair will not curl for nobody. I wonder if I could do this using multiple flexi rods and then sit under the dryer for an hour 🤔
I do this on dry hair because I find it easier for me and then quickly spray with a spray bottle to lightly damp it. By the time I’m done prepping the house for the morning my hair is dry enough that I feel fine going to bed without issue
I have thick, heavy, tailbone length hair. I do heatless curls like this all the time. I put firm hold mousse in while its damp, applying it in sections for even coverage. Then, I put my hair up like 95% dry, and spray the outside of the wrapped hair with spray gel. I use a blow dryer with a diffuser to warm up the hair a bit before I cover it with a silk bonnet or silk wrap for sleeping. The curls do fall out a bit on day 1, but on day 2, I put it up dry and spray the outside again with the spray gel and have big bouncy curls all day.

If you have short hair, use the head band technique. Wear the headband on top of your hair, then curl your hair around it

it's best to do it after taking a shower while your hair is still damp. Doing it too wet or too dry won't leave the same results

I just French braid my hair before bed. And it looks nicely wavy in the morning. This seems a little uncomfortable if you’re a back sleeper.

I don't have a curling rod so I used my knee high socks 😅 same effect

rms lipliner in morning dew, benetint, and dior lip oil or just any clear lip balm/gloss on top

you should never really do heatless curls or putting your hair up at all when that wet. it causes a lot of breakage!! I’d do it on like 90% dry hair.
