Man, I am 42, and all my life I thought that muscle up is something beyond difficult for me but after your instructions I did it after one day of training. Amazing, thank you!
This is great information that I will try and put to use. I've been straying away from kipping but agree that I should learn this first. If I can accomplish this then work on form!
Sondre congrats ! Can you do some more detail mescle up grip tecnich and also the intermediary fases ti build up? Man congrats so much! Here is Leo from Itatiba , São Paulo
I learned so many new concepts in this video. This is a really clever approach to learning the MU. I feel special cause I can do 2 slow MU with false grip but I totally lost the technique for dynamic MU, I currently unable to do those 😆.
Since learning MU last year it is still my favourite excercise. Progress happens monthly and I went from kipping MU to strict to slow to close grip, to high pullup and it never stops to amaze me. To bad I didn't start earlier but to everyone with doubt: try your best and the MU will be a rewarding skill to unlock.
Thanks, great video. I have become very explosive getting my chest and navel to the bar, buts struggle to transition. Will try the half grip. That will probably help. On a totally unrelated note, I love the colour of paint on your walls.
Then I’m sure you’ll be repping muscle ups in no time 🔥 And thanks, it’s more or less the only decorational choice I made when moving in with my GF 😂 “I need a color that makes for a good video background” hahah
Does weighted pull ups makes the learning curve easier? In terms of explosive pull strength. Because i heard seen alot of people who never a day in the life did train it that much directly who got it on their first second try due to being solid in weighted pull ups
I love and hate the uscle up , trying it for over two months know and i just dont get the transition . I can do 8 straight bar dips and 10 pulls ups .Hopefully sondre can help with this video 😅
Thank you for the detailed explanation. I will do my best to follow along. 😀😀

Congrats man🎉 That says something about how technical exercise it is, which is very important to remember!

Nice one Sondre! I'm 54 and just managed to do my first assisted MU with a rubber band. Still a long way to go, but I'll get there... Subscribed!
