  • The Mantis 4 stroke tiller is amazing. The Mantis is a cultivator that can penetrate even tough ground. With the Mantis Honda motor this little machine has a ton of power. Watch how I not only till a preview garden bed but start a new garden bed with untouched ground. This Mantis tiller has a lot of power and is very convenient. Do I recommend this tiller? Watch and find out! If you are interested in this tiller you can purchase it here: amzn.to/3ujlLyF

I bought a used pair of furrow tines on ebay for it that really work quick and deep on hard soil. The aerator tines are great for overseeding and lawn spot repair too.

This was a great review. Thank you for showing how it worked in different soil conditions!

I bought a New Mantis 2 cycle Tiller in 2008 and still have it. I Love it so much that I bought another new one last week, March 2024. It works even better with the Wheel Set, a lot easier tilling in the garden. Also if you have the Dethatcher, it's amazing. Nice video & animals.

4-Stroke so 4 pulls to get the engine going. Classic :D

If you were impressed with that, the tines are actually designed to be reversed for tilling (as opposed to cultivating) and it would've been 5x more effective breaking ground.

With the skyrocketing prices coming in the food market, we made a good sized garden and bought canning supplies. I rented a large tiller first, but this is the model I was looking into for the upkeep now that all the hard packed soil is broken. Thanks for sharing!

I love my mantis. Mine is an old 90s 2cycle. They are awesome. You will be smart to run non ethanol gasoline in it 2 or 4 cycle.

Thank you for calling the machine a "four stroke"

  • @drunkbikewrenchen6400

I think your chickens love it even more than you do.

  • @iflytango

I wonder if you can take one tine off and till with just one

Nice review Kendra. That is a cute little machine and I agree it seems to do a great job, especially for the smaller or established garden. You didn’t mention how much it cost?
