- Guys, for the sake of your health, check in on the men in your life. Lean into the camaraderie you have in your community. And if you don’t have it, be brave and do the work to go get them. At least making male friendship connections should be a little less hard than dating.

I tried to express genuine respect and friendship towards my neighbor since he is close to my age, free haircuts and given away valuable gifts to him, the acts of kindness and respect was never reciprocal on a equal level, lashed out at him recently and it’s been awkward, so I decided to completely isolate myself from my neighbors and focus on my family. I just wanted to succeed socially outside of my wife and family. I realized at 44 years old is that people outside of family really don’t care about you and that the person you create a family with is all that matters. For years I tried to resist the lone wolf attributes and seek male friendships. I guess I will never fit the criteria for joining a male group of friends and it’s a tough pill to swallow, but having a female companion who truly cares about me eases that type of loneliness. I love my wife unfortunately we can’t talk about everything, however knowing that I won’t die alone is positive. It’s sux not having opportunities to shoot the shit with the fellows and drink a few beers, but it could be worse. First world problems I guess.
bro i’m thankful for this video, that’s exactly what I started doing this january. I’ve been isolating myself for years and was depressed angry and toxic, but being with people a lot more, especially my guy friends, i’m so much more happy positive and optimistic. It's the best thing
It’s tough. I think I have social anxiety because now that I’m in college, I have trouble making friends. I have two roommates who I never talk to and one of them fished hair out of the drain yesterday and left us a passive aggressive note about it. It made me really upset.
I've been in these situations with roommates and friends. What I'm suggesting about male friendship isn't easy, BUT it's worth it. Clearing the air in those situations, being honest about your emotions and approaching them with love instead of resentment works many times. Not always, but it can be disarming.

Awesome video and I agree. I love my best friend and I think he knows that.
I met up with him a week ago to just have a walk on a beach and talk. We also attended a mutual friends wedding and we both got a bit drunk and ended up having a heart to heart talk. Telling each other how much we care for one another. I remember few days later asking if he remembered the chat and he said yes and then told me he meant every word.
I hang out with 2 men I'm good friends very often. No matter what I'm doing with them. I just became generally happy around them
I love my female friends and enjoy their company but just something about hanging with my bros has a different effect on me that I don't think my female friends can give.
Love this story, dude. It's the good stuff. It's what makes life a little better and a little easier.
It really takes the right personality for a man to make male friends, not every man possesses those attributes.
Anyone can get better at making friends through doing the real work. Ideating, research, and trial & error. As long as a man is brave, it's possible and realistic.

Male friendship = gay friendship!
Male friendship IS gay in nature but NOT sexual! We are men and we are ALL gay! Masculinity is gay, penises are gay, muscularity is gay! I'm gay and I CHOOSE to be gay! I CHOOSE men! I always have been gay since I was a little boy and ALWAYS will be!
Also being gay is NOT inherently sexual, dirty and inappropriate for kids! Same goes for being male, penises and muscular nude bodies. Obviously, all of such things CAN always be sexual and are so in some cases, but are USUALLY non-sexual, as they should be! Male friendship is gay, whether it is naked or clothed, but the former condition is way better as it keeps us together. All of us men and boys should form nudist friendships where we don't perceive our penises and nude male/muscular bodies as something sexual and adults-only. Whether you're a baby boy or an old man, gay friendship (nudist or textile) has no age and SHOULD have no age! Personally, I think a gay intergenerational nudist friendship, such as a little boy and a big man is ideal as the man would teach my views to the boy so it doesn't make him (the boy) become a dirty/sexual gay when he becomes an adult. Obviously, the parents must have say in whom the child associates themself with and the behaviors the child would get involved in as well as watch over the little boy to make sure he is safe with the (boy) friend.
I firmly believe that being gay SHOULD and CAN exist on a platonic level where it is friendly and non-sexual!
If being gay, male, penises, nude muscular/adult-like bodies ARE sexual, then they MUST be age-restricted to prevent psychological damage to minors. That would be gay pornography or homosexual content which is adults only.
It ALL depends on the context and intentions.
I also think that photos and videos of nudist gay friendships and (non-sexual) penises alone in close-up, of and among male persons of ANY age, including children and babies, SHOULD and CAN be widely available all over the internet to find and download for our own viewing pleasure. It will make the world a FAR better place!

Yeah, that's my opinion even if my opinions are pretty weird, but that's just me. I'm a unique species of man on so many levels.
I’m gay married and I promise, I’m looking for the old Marine USMC MSG friendships of my past. I’m sick of being the most masculine man I know and I’m a bottom! Men today aren’t men. Change your own oil? Brakes? Doesn’t the concept of radiator confuse you? Know what I mean? You can be gay and still be totally masculine and not on the take.
