You are right because I'm the kid that searched on internet in order to find someone that would tell me what I need to If I want to be financially free. I'm still new to the watch world and it blows my mind how from a small distance and such you can tell these fakes so quickly. I understand that comes with experience but would love to hear the details so I can learn stuff to watch for....no pun intended.

As to Fossil, it was founded as a budget quartz watch company in the 80s, and while they make a lot of the fashion watches, their own name brand stuff are actually decent quality for the price.

Just for example, the Speedy Pro @ 9:00 you say is a $4,000 watch - and while it's true you can buy used versions for around $4k, if you're buying brand new from an AD the price will be higher than that. A brand new saphire Speedmaster Pro is now selling for $10,900 CAD here in Ontario, Canada. After 13% HST that's going to be $12,317 CAD (~9K USD) out-the-door if you're paying retail.
I'm in process of buying a Tudor Heritage Advisor Black Dial Stainless Steel. I love my Tissot T-Sport PRC200 Chronograph but now I want a Tudor where it's more affordable than a Rolex but some day I'll be able to afford a Rolex but for now I will buy what I can afford and not be broke in my bank account.
