I just think Old Town and Hobie are getting a little crazy with the prices. Maybe it's because I'm a poor lol but when you start talking about $6,000 for a pedal kayak It just seems a bit much.

The 2.7 runs too hot with twin turbos. There is a lawsuit claiming over 800 of them have blown up due to shattered valves. The 5.0 is the best ford motor and they are hard to find. Not paying 25000 for a truck with 130,000 miles
old town recommends you do, but do you have to register your ebike??? the motor solo on this boat goes 4.7 tops, if you pedal with the motor off you can get close to 6, like why do you need to register it? anyways you should always check your local regs
I’m in California and Gov isn’t happy with all the E-bikes and E-Motors they’re making laws for all of them Hopefully it doesn’t have to be registered. Thanks Alex .
Aliex, Ryan's ideas, research, and technology on these Oldtown kayaks is Epic! I do love that boat, and my own Oldtown. Would've loved to see a newer hull, but it's still awesome. No-one designs that heavy duty, thick, hull like Oldtown. I'd actually add my Bixpy PP-768 on the back, for long trips. And the power pole, for sight fishing. That'd be my setup. 💯 🛶 🎣
