      I'm planning on doing an orchestral mockup of the Salival version of PUSHIT using some of the best virtual instrument libraries known to man... Got a few other projects to finish before I can fully commit to it, but I tried toying around with some ideas the other day and I believe its going to be freaking epic. If I can get it anywhere close to this video's level of awesomeness, I think I'll be able to die fairly fulfilled.

    It gives a somewhat different vibe to the original, that is not a bad thing in my view at all, it is the conception of a new opus. I love the result, especially the pianist's performance. It's a special pleasure to see a good pianist's hands' graceful movements over the keyboard.

    Being a fan of Tool since before Undertow came out, I'm always and continually astounded by the music. Hearing the same music performed in such a completely different arrangement just reaffirms why Tool is the greatest band ever. This was absolutely amazing! I had literal chills.

    This is astounding and all, don't get me wrong, but I'd love to hear an entire cover/interpretation of this by just the pianist, maybe with some light percussion. He did such a rad job with the middle section, turning it into a whole new piece without sacrificing the slightest bit of the original feel, it's amazing.

    If Bach, Beethoven, Mozart, the greats ,if they were alive now ,they would play music of this caliber, and I would say that Tool are our greats.       It's largely so that the sound of their instruments doesn't block out the other players, as they are very loud. the big blocks in front of them actually are for absorbing sound.

    Truly amazing.
    There's one thing I have noticed with people making tool covers, any covers be it orchestra, koto, cello, the guy who plays entire song on one acoustic guitar - all of them are so well executed. I mean I haven't seen one crap cover of a Tool song which tells a lot to me about people who listen to and play Tool. Great stuff, keep going 👌

    Thoroughly enjoyed the arrangement as a tool fan and former symphonic orchestra member. However, where was the percussion? This had such a strong timpani and chimes part that really made this piece great, why wasn't it played live?

      For real I was disappointed by the lack of percussion in this piece. Danny Carey does an awesome job. If there was an actual drum set part for this I think it would sound so much better
