Allots happened sense you left. Pokémon Home came to Gen 9 and that combined with the 1st half of the DLC that is the Teal Mask let me transfer my shiny Darkrai from Shining Pearl (for those that remember they had an event for that at one point in time).

Just noticed something, in Molayne’s battle you said you were scared of a thunder wave, but not very known fact, dark types are immune to status moves used by a Pokémon with prankster (like klefky), therefore, it would have had no effect

Levelling up during the battle doesn't count, as long as you're not over the level cap when you start the battle it's all good lol
As someone who knows it takes 2 whole minutes each reset for a starter in USUM just to get a good nature, my condolences on your sanity

There were several points where his Pokemon were above the level cap before the battle started
not only that he also changed the AI, like how the lycanrock doesn't use a rock type move against the bug type nor the Z crystal, furthermore unless forced they will always use their ace last so yeah the AI was changed

haha sadly not,though its my fault more than the rng! Because during the start of 2023 i was doing tons of resets a day but then towards the middel i was switching between jobs and switching to a night shift job so i had to give my body time to adjust so i wasent really doing a ton of resets for it in the end of 2023 but hey im wayyy to far in to give up so imma keep chipping away at it bit by bit this year! i remember when i first started the hunt i was resetting for easily over eight hours i was trying to get the metaphorical counter up! at least when i do get it i will forever remember this long journy though i hope it shows before april so i can still have time to beat the dex and trade the dex enteries up to home we shall see@@expohshappyhour1460

12:19 his Pokémon called ruby was over the level cap which was level 28 but his Pokémon was level 29
The way level caps work is you can enter the battle at exactly that level, and level up midway through to the next one and it’s not against any rules.
I only sr twice for starters so far, and it took once 173 tries and the other like half an hour
