Only event I've ever quit was the GORUCK 50 miler in DC. My buddy and I were both having cold injury symptoms and were bound to get ourselves seriously hurt. We decided to withdraw and the following year I gave it another shot and finished the event. Not ideal for sure but got it done eventually.

@@ZEvenEsh Fun times for sure. We were about 30 miles in when we started having relatively serious hypothermia symptoms. My second attempt it was really hot instead of wet and cold and had nasty blisters. Worth it thought to come back and complete it though.
