Can you imagine 35 years ago; when this interview was done, Marie Windsor and Cesar Romero, held their own; during this interview! Because Skip, could be a bit of a pain! They explained how it was in the 30's and 40's. The glamour and get togethers were legendary back then! I loved this interview! ❤🎬❤

I had the privilege to meet Marie Windsor in person at Anthony's school of real estate in 1985 I believe. Then, her last name was Hupp. After her class at night I walked her to her car and wished her good night 😴 🥱. She gave me a signed picture of herself of which I am very appreciative. Rest in peace Marie 🙏 🪦 😌 you were a great person.

Why don't you read her bio? It's called "A Sheep in Wolf's Clothing: The Life of Marie Windsor" and is at amazon.

Marie is a real class act, and Romero was just incredibly charming and sharp and funny. Even Lowe's constant interruptions and inane questions didn't ruin this interview as they did so many others. She was in two of my absolute favorite movies of all time: "The Sniper" and "The Narrow Margin", both from 1952. It was great to see and hear her.

She was such a wonderful actress. I saw this woman in so many good old movies which I vividly remember. SHE WAS AWESOME.

When they talk about charisma and memorability in movie character actors, Marie Windsor is epic. Eddie Muller on TCM’s Film Noir presentation told about what held Marie back from major roles was that producers considered her “too tall.”
As a kid who grew up watching Marie Windsor on the Late Show and, when I cut school, Dialing for Dollars Movies on KTVU-Oakland way back when there reruns aplenty, Marie Windsor was one of my favorite actresses.
Thank you for posting this interview!

Skip E. was the master of unpreparedness.

Cesar's Joker laugh coming out. Such a class act and not many folks know that he was gay. Regardless of that, he was one of a kind for damn sure. Miss him big time.

Glad to hear Marie considered "The Killing" one her favorite films she starred in. It is one of mine too, and my favorite Kubrick film. She was a beautiful woman. That bus station in the film was a real bus station (located in Hollywood on Vine St.) and I remember getting off a Greyhound Bus there back in the 80's

Skip E Lowe had a wonderful idea when he got all these stars in a show he created. The man deserves a medal. It is a joy to see them and hear what motivated them, and to hear and watch his quirky way of getting them talking of their lives..

Hmmm, Skip E. Lowe, huh ? -- in this and other interviews of his I couldn't stop thinking of Martin Short as his character Jiminy Glick. Anyway, Marie Wndsor and Cesar Romero, they were stars in their profession because they were marvelous humans. That really is what made Hollywood so great. Those stars really were bigger than life, whether or not they were flawed in their personal lives, they just had it-- the wit, bearing, grace and talent. But these two were also outstanding people, as well.
