Cesar still good looking at 78. Not many actors are like that! And all natural. No fillers, nose jobs, chin lifts - nothing. And yet Skip is only 54 here. He's the one who looks in his 80s.
I JUST LOVE THE INTERVIEWER SKIP. He makes you feel like your talking to a friend, he makes it so comfortable. You can tell hes discussing the magic of his career, rather than learning it as a history lesson like many other interviewers have when interviewing legends now days.
Cesar Julio Romero Jr. (February 15, 1907 - January 1, 1994) was an American actor and activist. He was active in film, radio, and television for almost sixty years. His wide range of screen roles included Latin lovers, historical figures in costume dramas, characters in light domestic comedies, and the Joker on the Batman television series, which was included in TV Guide's 2013 list of The 60 Nastiest Villains of All Time.[2] He was the first actor to play the character.
Cesar Romero was the Joker. Tyrone Power was Zorro. Zorro inspired young Bruce Wayne as a kid. Cesar Romero was close friends with Tyrone Power. Am I the only one seeing this?
Mr. Power and Mr. Romero in a twin engine Beechcraft flying all those miles. Imagine that happening today?? The "stars" of today have Gulfstream 5's with pilots. The closest thing we have to that bygone era is John Travolta, who is a pilot, but he flies commercial jets, with co-pilots. I love that the stars of yesteryear, like Mr. Romero knew had to keep secrets, and keep the mystery alive.
Holy Cow -- it's Miss Marie Windsor. I loved her in her small part in "Song Of The Thin Man" -- she played the gun moll. Never saw her again till now. Thanks for Cesar and Marie.
@CK1223 He is a former actor\ entertainer since he was a child.....Then in 1978, started a public access interview show called " Skip E Lowe Looks at Hollywood" that I believe is still running....Thanks for asking!
John, haven't seen "The Sniper"..I will have to seek it out. Don't know much about Miss Windsor, but I'm a great student of The Thin Man Films, and that's where I discovered her -- gorgeous! By the way we share a last name -- Paul Driscoll.
@madviolet I believe that "friend of Hitler" rumor about Sonja Henie got started because when she was very young she competed and won a medal at the 1936 Olympics in Germany that was attended by Hitler and somehow she ended up with an autograghed picture of him--In 1940, Germany invaded Norway and destroyed many homes, so she called her maid in her Norway home and told her to find that photo and display it on the piano....to look like she supported Hitler...it worked....her home was left alone
Loved Marie and Mr Romero tremendously!!!!

Best Joker ever
Cesar Romero is terrific. He comments on Tyrone Power, Evita and Peron, Betty Grable, Deitrich, Von Sternberg, etc. Off the cuff fascinating stuff.

They were Lovers. Skip should have talked about it.

Zachary Lee The original Joker.
Trump is the original.
The joker that modernize all other versions of the joker. Thank Romero for other jokers; especially Joaquin Phoenix joker
MARIE WINDSOR
John, haven't seen "The Sniper"..I will have to seek it out. Don't know much about Miss Windsor, but I'm a great student of The Thin Man Films, and that's where I discovered her -- gorgeous! By the way we share a last name -- Paul Driscoll.
That's Marie Windsor - great as the bad girl in "The Narrow Margin". It's on DVD, a classic film noir.
He had aged very gracefully. Still very handsome.
A real chevallier!...""👋👋👋👋👋
When people still gave a shit about their craft....ditto
Her role in "THE SNIPER" was even smaller----and tragic! I just couldn't believe that she'd ever get blown-away in a film. What a DOWNER!

@tallpaul521 ........A wonderful actress for many years........thanks for watching......
I never realized how closely Martin Short copied this guy. Wow.
Jiminy Glick ! 😜
Is that host the one & only actor Leslie Jordan?
@TheTalentedMrRipley1 ...You are not alone.....quite a few people have said the same thing......thanks for watching!!!
Si Mon
some people say it was orange wedges, others say tangerine...
How is this interviewer not an SNL character? Unprepared... Over-the-top fruity... Gushy... Hysterical SNL
Martin Short fashioned his character Jiminy Glick after this guy.
He outlived Carmen Miranda alright
.
Skip talks too much shut up let the legend Cesar Romero talk
Loved the sound of his own voice Skip
Both Butch and the interviewer, we're homosexual
who is skip e lowe
Omg I'm his great great great grand daughter
+carson scott .....That would be impossible, as he never had any children....
+carson scott I assume you're talking about the interviewer, since CR never married.
Neither did Mr. Romero. Nice try.
lol you wish!
Poor woman could hardly get a word in
The host was cringe and kept talking
Lust N The Dust w/ all the gay dudes Cesar, Divine & Tab.
Who is this interviewing Mr. Romero, he's a bit fey.
an obvious homosexual
There is more than 1 on screen here dear.
Skippy E. Lowe who passed away 2014. A hollywood icon. Very kind and colorful man.
It is very obvious with skip.....but Romero was very sly and kept you wondering.
I read that near the end of his life Romero came to believe in Liberation Theology. Strange given his background. He was very Anti-Castro.
That's not true...
