Windows or Door Lock Don't Work? East Fix for Your JEEP!

- I was having an issue with my 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee Larado. The controls on the driver's door quit working. The Windows up/down, the lock, and the mirror controls all quit working. They had been intermittent for some time. But they finally quit working all together. This sucked really bad when it was hot as my A/C no longer worked in this Jeep. Even worse it was keeping the window controls on the other doors from working correctly.

That has given me the confidence to even pull the rubber back and see why my windows don't work, might just be a fuse, even so, really helpful, ThankQ
Good deal. Just make sure to disconnect the battery before you mess with any wiring. Don't want to short something out and blow any fuses or anything.

Once I googled it, I realized it was a pretty common problem. Guess they OEM didn't use good wires for a place where it would be bending a lot.

@@BrentMorris Sorry. Not sure I remember. It was some I had left over from running lights on our golf cart.
@@homestead_diy it was 12 gauge. I took the portion I cut out and made sure I got the proper size 😂
