I have 2 Stay Slims which are the forerunner of the compact. You asked Stay to make a taller compact then buy the Slim. Basically the Compact is a cut down version of the Slim with only one tier instead of the Slims 2 tiers.
Would you consider putting your Nord Stage 88 keys on the stay compact? Is it stable? On the stay website, I think they recommend the compact for upto 61 or 76 keys.. Thanks for the review :)
ooooh we definitely need a keyboard stand aficionado. I am looking for one right now and I am watching your videos. I haven’t found exactly what I’m looking for yet. Might have to consider a custom job.
Hi! Maybe I missed it in your video, but I wondered what arms you’re using for your laptop? I’m after another set of arms for my Korg Minilogue and don’t know what to get! Ta
Hi there. Great looking stand. How does it compare with the Ultimate Apex stand for stability. Does the piano model have any movement issues while playing your keyboard? Thanks.
Im still using my 2 Slim stands. But i really need the Compact now im using a single keyboard as im sitting at the Slim visually its tower is now in the way. I cant find a Compact in Australia so i may have to cut a Slim down into a Compact. As i mentioned 2 years ago on here the Compact is SIMPLY a reduced height Slim. I hate to cut my Slim down as its a wonderful example of industrial design. Very lovely product but as buying Stay stands outside of Brazil is very difficult I may have to cut one of mine.
Hi, thanks for a great review. Which one you would recommend between Stay Piano Stand and K&M Spider Pro if weight is not a concern. I have seen your other video on K&M but it is not in comparison with Stay Piano Stand. Please share your views. Thanks
I have the Stay slim and use it with my Kurzweil PC4-7. Very sturdy and compact. Unfortunately, the carry case sucks and hasn't lasted. Also, Stay is not readily available in in the USA, and they have been unresponsive to my requests to get their mic holder and extra support arms for another keyboard. Great stand, but I will be looking elsewhere for my new stand due to lack of availability of accessories in the states.
I have to say, I do still prefer the K&M Spider Pro as a gigging keyboard stand. The options for accessories are much better and the stand is more sturdy. 👌
OMG. I still have mine. Must be going on close to 40 years!!!!!! Most underrated stand. Easy set up with both keboards close to each other. Glad to see someone still uses theirs.

It’s definitely more stable than the apex. It still bounces a little when you play hard but feels very sturdy. Thanks for watching!
Really need this... But the good are unavailable..can i buy like ones?
What about room for two volume pedals, sustain and Leslie switch pedal?
I reckon you could squeeze that in…as long as you didn’t push it to far back. I’d suggest mounting them all on a little pedalboard!

Hey gaurav, I prefer the k&m. It’s more robust and has more options for accessories! Hope that helps!
@@ChrisMutchJones thanks Chris. I need one for my small studio. So might go with K&M as you suggested.
where do you put the pedals underneath and your feet?????
Good question! I had to jam the sustain pedal next to the frame and I found that my foot would rest on the other leg when sat down
Rockin💓🎹🎸🎹
as a suggestion, you could play something whenever you review these kind of products, it may help people to make a decision
Good job…
DONDE SE PUEDE COMPRAR ???
There is a link in my description.

@@ChrisMutchJones I wish it was less expensive, as I could buy another keyboard for that price.
Haha! Yeah it is a bit pricey!
That being said, if I have 5k worth of gear on a stand, I want to know it’s not gonna fall on me!!
I still swear by my ,,Invisible stand. I could see this as a good rehearsal stand, light.
