I like both motors but for different applications…I run a yellow jacket in my Poizd, Revolver in my Gspeed and run fusion in my Capra and trail rigs. The fusion is hard to beat and a workhorse plus it’s tidy.
Still brushed, hoping to be brushless soon can't decide what to go with. Been taking parts off my Rock Pirates build to better my Capra flat skid and 3 gear trans. Getting ready for Pro-Line by the fire. Good to see you back Been hot here around 110° last 3 weeks. Stay safe, my friend.
I love my revolvers, just hate that I keep burning shit up! Honestly I like the axe systems from hobbywing. The new V3 is freakin awesome with 145 amp ESC. NO BEC NECESSARY.
I run Holmes in both my rigs, never fried a servo. Only one receiver but that was an old stock redcat one. I absolutely love my revolver but at this point there's alot of great motors out there.
I run one revolver and the rest are the 2in1 Spektrum and hobbywing . I definitely prefer the 2in1’s for the simplicity for sure but also enjoy my Holmes v3 and snubnose.
@@Hardlines_FullsendRc that sounds like a good combination of motors. I like how small the revolvers are, but they almost take up more space when you include the esc and cables!
What are your thoughts on the Furitek setup that you are running? I have the same setup in the Axial Base Camp rtr, it seems to work good with no issues, but have no other experience with the other brushless setups.
Fusions for everything. Axialfest was great. Thanks for sharing.
Welcome to the club! I burned up two servos running Holmes revolvers with V3 ESC! I now run diodes for protection
@@Toodles77 what caused you to burn them up? I was dumb and just started plugging stuff in the wrong way
One choice is also the smallest Revolver with the V3, but it really depends on the rig where it has to be mounted.

@@mikeearls8158 dude tidy is a good point I didn’t even think about. But you’re right just a couple wires. Much less to worry about!!
Fusions are very popular here. Simple, can run in all conditions, and just flat work on techniccal stuff.
@@donniehunter309 Amen brother!
My revolver combo experience was a coggy mess. Fusion is streets ahead of everything imho.
@@underarockandstuff that’s kinda how I feel too!

@@WandererOfTheDesert duuuude go with a fusion! You will love the difference!
@HobbyDrop just doing the flat skid, and the 3 gear makes a lot of difference. Fusion would be my 1st choice.
@@WandererOfTheDesert yeah those 3 things are good upgrades. You will love the fusion tho!
I do 1/24 scale crawling and 1/10 rock bouncing but I really think my next truck will be a Capra great video and commentary thanks🤘✌️
@@shawnrichardson118 the Capra is a fun place to start! Very durable too!

@@Matt-it8jh yeah I only fried stuff cause I’m an idiot. That had nothing to do with the motor haha.

Revolver and V3 ESC

@@alfredlucero5770 it was a little weird at first. And it does alright. But I do prefer a hobbywing fusion brushless set up
I am a fan of the revolvers have them in 6 of my rigs, didn't care for the fusion have one out of 20+ cars.
@@curtkelsey2136 😮😮how many rigs do you have?? Haha
@@HobbyDrop it’s a problem I know, not all rock crawlers but over 20.

Was a fusion guy until I got a revolver. Prob won’t buy another fusion.
@@OkRC.crawlers really? You’ve gotten good at tuning then probably huh? I feel they bog down more
