Half of my RC crawling enjoyment is building so more bench time would be rad
absolutely brilliant 👍😀 fantastic trucks and off road adventure 😀😀👍👍😎😎
Bob Ross head is a must. Its about the right size since it's no helmet.
Rock crawling is a dangerous sport.😄
awesome video buddy, bought the stance a few days ago, can't wait to play with it, my kids will love it, i know so lol
@@kirkul1 the stance is a good rig! You’ll love it
I have found myself keeping two sets of panels for my H10. A set for the shelf, and set for the trails... but I got impatient and now both the blue and the black are 'trail' scarred like my 1:1 jeep.
So, you feel fear while playing with a RC car, that's a hoot.
@@ohwell2790 it’s one of the more expensive things I play with! Haha so yeah, I do :D
Look's awesome 👍🏼
looks great
Finally a shop video.
Good call on the ppf
Hey if you need some more ppf in the future just stop by underwraps here in stg and i can get you some of our off cuts, iv done my lexan shell with ppf it definitely helps but the red rocks around here eats it up pretty fast
@@approxknowledge oh sick! Thanks dude, that would be awesome
Cool. Thanks for sharing.
@@smokin0137 thank you for the support!
@HobbyDrop the paint looks great. Has she considered doing special requests. I want a Minecraft themed build.
@ yeah she would do whatever!
So glad you protected that artwork, so glad you'll still be putting it on the rocks.😎
looks great 👍 👌 like it 👍😀😀
Amazing paint job cool you're protecting it. Will cool seeing tit out on trail. Cool video a how to. You come up on FB as someone I mite know. Stay safe, my friend. Cool rig
@@WandererOfTheDesert thanks! Haha do i?that’s funny. Thanks for following man, I really appreciate all your support!

Vous avez le mini fusion sur votre rampeur
Hey where can i get that 3d print front body clip ?
I designed and printed it myself. But I’ve actually designed a new magnetic one that I like a lot more. This was good, but would snap if you took a fall just right
I have the fusion and am very interested. Would love to convert a Stinger chassis ! Also go SOA and 4 link.
@@chris-q8v9u the fusion is a awesome motor. My favorite for sure. And yes SOA is the way to go.
The nuts are lined with plastic so they dont back out. Like the wheel nuts
Hello sir.. what's the tyre size in mm..?
@@nasirhussain6633 vxt2- about 128mm Krawlers- about 132mm
Got u just sub
I bought quite a few DL shocks for my Redcat ascent but im wondering what combo to run. I have SOA and 4 link conversion on it so it will generate much more flex with longer shocks, but I also want to maximize it as a performance rock crawler ( don't want it to look like a trx4 high trail). I also prefer no spring under the piston, and use the weight of my crawler for droop (so it maximizes flex). Should i go: 1)100mm front and rear 2)90mm front, 100mm rear 3)100mm front, 110mm rear 4)90mm front, 110mm rear Please help me out, thank you so much
@@clasherroyale4957 nice, Soa is the way to go. If you’re wanting a performance rig I like to have about a tire height of travel front and rear. I have found that is a good mix. My go to shock set up is traxxas 2260s
Amazing paint job, she did great job. Thank you for sharing. Stay safe, my friend
Clear PPF paint protection, film
@@neilelliott655 oh dude that’s a great idea. Will it stick to the semi textured acrylic paint?
@@HobbyDrop heat gun it
Clear it with some matte, it’ll protect it somewhat from getting all scratched up…I have a hard time keeping anything as a shelf queen. As ironic as it is my only shelf queen is a limited King of the Hammers Bomber! It’s my least valued rig!😂 It would never hold up with all the plastic links and what not.
@@Toodles77 yeaaah I feel the same way, seems a shame to have a rig just sitting! Haha it’s a shelf queen cause it’s fragile :)
Roof panel looks like a Bob Ross painting

Great job! I mean nothing less than spectacular!
@@Toodles77Aw thank you so much!!!! 🤗
Looks great
Whoah! No, shelf it for sure omo.
what does the link rise do exactly? would it still work even after i install a 1tenthrc SOA and 4 link mount on my acsent?
@@clasherroyale4957 so the link riser raises up the rear upper links on the axle to help keep the nose down while climbing. So, yes it would still work with the SOA.
i don't have an R/C but i want one so bad. the scale trucks look awesome! but the e10 is just more capable.
I'm building a four wheel steer rig using the new meus portals. Stoked to get it together. Poizd is definitely your best truck, probably the reaper second. The other rigs need more tinkering and adjustment.
@@Matt-it8jh oh I haven’t heard of those axles before. 4ws rigs are fun. Everyone needs one in the collection.
I enjoyed the run off. Pretty cool.
Cool shootout, my was for the Reaper because I thought you sold the Poizd my favorite of your rigs. That last gate looked hard. The wheels on the Capra do you like them? Hopefully I will get my build done soon. Stay safe my friend
@@WandererOfTheDesert oh no way I couldn’t sell the poizd :) not yet at least haha. The wheels are solid, just some amazon carbon fibers. I like them cause they narrow up the axles a little but I have found that the screw heads stick out far enough to get caught on stuff.
It was a fun to watch series. Kept it interesting. 😎 Thanks!
@@donniehunter309 heyyy thanks Donnie. I’m glad you enjoyed it!
What's the fun factor difference in stepping up to 10 scale from 18 ? I have an acre block so tonnes of room to play
@@Donovarcotfw for me it’s the size of the obstacle. It opens up a whole new set of options. As well as the upgrades are more available. There’s a lot out there for 18th but there’s more for 10th.
Either there is a gear bind somewhere through too loose or too tight or the motor combo has an issue.
Thanks for sharing.
I dunno what to tell you man. I run that esc the team spec 540m on 3s, and it's so smooth. And the truck it's in is 8.68 lbs. It's never been programmed or tuned. I plugged it in guessed on an 11 tooth pinion and left it alone. Had a thought watching it bind, whats the c rating on your battery. I have noticed a difference in performance with a low c rating.
Like the chassis but not big on Redcat, I haven't driven one, just not for me. Great lines and love the Red Rocks. Stay safe, my friend
@@WandererOfTheDesert I’m not a huge redcat guy either. But this ascent for the cost is a good rig. Now I’m just having fun with it haha
@HobbyDrop it's a great starter rig looked at them at Pro-Line looking for a rig for the wife. Maybe a build kit
@@WandererOfTheDesert kits are fun. I’ve only done one. But it was a good time
I know you want to support your friend's chassis but the DSM Offroad chassis is phenomenal and just makes the truck planted and stable
This rig def needs some love. Gearing and shock tuning. Shocks are too long, and theyre easily unsettled. If ya can just swap out to some 2660 big bores
@@DesertRockCrawler yeah they are still the stock ones. 2660s are the way to go no doubt. You’ve converted me to those
Great video, my dude
Cogging on a bind , perhaps you have your mesh too tight. Pinyon /spur
@@cardboardcrawlersrc8805 I have checked this. I’ve got a good mesh I believe :)
I have a slight suspicion the cogging in binds might be, A ESC Settings, Or B Gearing like you said. But so far its a great video.
@@urbancrawler1459 yeah i need to plug it in. I’ve been slacking
@@HobbyDrop Haha all good, My cars been decommissioned for about two months due to an esc and servo crapping out on me. I'm looking at the furitek python esc the one that can do brushed and brushless motors I remember you having one in your poizd, Did you like it it's been a minute.
@@urbancrawler1459 oh that sucks haha. Yeah it’s solid, I would just do a fusion 2 in 1 tho. Unless your build requires a small motor to fit.
@@HobbyDrop Yeah i was going to do the fusion se, But I've always just wanted an outrunner. I'll still likely just gonna get the fusion se hoping it goes on sale for prime day. It's going into a gspeed v4 fs on 10.3 axles and a chinese transmission. at a 12.8 wheelbase
@@urbancrawler1459 oh nice that sounds like a good rig! The fs is a good chassis
