The best key bed in the business to !! I could go on and on and on. the cheap toy modx has (had it for one day and shipped it back to store) the cheapest keybed in the business. The arpeggios (6500) can create songs quickly with 4 parts in performance mode. Voice mode is already super powerful !! Shall I say more ?!?

Your original XS Rack demo years ago inspired me to buy one, and it's been a staple of my compositions. Some of the best acoustic sounds ever in a rompler.
Thanks for the review, great as always. I'm an X user and I will say that the great sounds it has are just a small part of its great capabilities. For me, the main thing is that you can make your own sounds and it has all the capabilities for this, you just need to learn how to do it. What am I missing? I would like more memory for samples than 2 GB, and I would like an HD or SSD drive for ease of use, such as in yamaha tyros. It also lacks a retractable screen like the tyros. Otherwise, I don't see the need to replace it with newer models yet, I'll just have to spend time learning them again.
Halion 7 is the next best thing to a Yamaha Motif, it's a VST rompler by Steinberg based on the same sounds that are based on a mix of Motif ES and XS samples and it also has many sounds from Halion One which are based on Yamaha Motif Classic samples. Another great option is yo get a Yamaha Motif XS rack, the same sounds as Motif XS7 but in a sound module.

Im eyeing a Motif 7 (classic) as we speak!
The classic has an internal battery that you will have to change eventually. Motif ES and up don't have them. @@itsJoel59
I just got the MoXF recently and I love it. MOTIF sound engine is timeless.
Will get a Motif XS6 tomorrow 🎉. Still crazy after all these years, these sounds never grow old 😊!
