When it said “I feel something missing” Tubbo is holding his head, like where JSchlatts horns are, whereas Tommy holds his face, which is where dreams face is. I find that really cool.

I remember this animatic absolutely breaking me at the time when the dsmp was on, SAD-ist portrayed how their relationship was breaking down perfectly in this, some of those frames give me chills when you see the misdirected fear and anger in tommys eyes, and how tubbo is desperate to show him that he is not like the others.

The amount of detail in this is just- wow
The way Tubbos motions are more closed, and Tommys are wide and open. Tubbo is probably trying to protect others from his feelings and Tommy is trying to express them because he usually doesnt know how.
Tubbo turned into the one thing he hated Jschlatt and tommy turned into his worse enemy dream I guess in the end trying to beat their worse enemies made them into their own worse enemy.

One thing i love about this animation is the way that Tubbo and Tommy reflect Schlatt and Wilbur. We see Schlatt standing behind Tubbo in one clip, but at 0:52 Tommy looks similar to Wilbur in his stance. I looked at a picture of SAD-ist's Wilbur and their hair are drawn very similar in the shot. Love the connection❤
also he's saying the line, "why won't you let me free," which reminds me of the L'manberg Independence war.

1:03 usually I don’t point out those “small detail theories,” but in my head, it seemed like Tommy was covering his face, as if he didn’t want anyone to see him crying, like he thought it made him weak. Tubbo covered his ears, which kind of seemed like he was trying to block out noise, or he was protecting his head. Tubbo seemed more distressed and irritated, while Tommy wanted to hide important parts of himself. I know I’m late and all that, but it’s still fun to think about it! :)

i left the dsmp fandom 5-6 months ago. just revisiting this for memories… i’ll never regret the time i spent in the fandom. it was so, so much fun- but i eventually grew out of it because i couldn’t keep up with the storyline and all the new people.
dsmp will always have a special place in my heart. i remember being so pumped when this was posted. i replayed it over 3 times. every now and then i’ll get another sad-ist animation in my recommended, and i’m just so astounded by how much she’s improved. i find this whole channel really inspiring, and i hope it just keeps on growing. i’ll never unsubscribe if i can help it :)
