How do i change the difficulty
Unsurprisingly, a lot of your advice is ACTUAL intelligent boxing advice that fighters use.
It's not much of a coincidence that the really good professional fighters use the first round, sometimes first two or three rounds to feel out their opponent and stratagize from there.
Jab and body work is an investment in keeping pressure on your opponent and to take the wind out of him.
As a 0-5-0 guy, i appreciate this
I don't like how if you throw a power punch you just stop moving. You tend to miss A LOT because of it. Another thing I hate is when you get close to a fighter, there's like a magnetic field where it's hard to pull away from the other fighter.
Very true I noticed that as well on both of your thoughts
Feet need to be set to throw power punches and statistically miss.... It's unrealistic to load up and land consistently
@@insidethesquaredcirclewith9797 you still can hit with power while moving, they could just add more damage/speed to the punches while stationary like in UFC 4

@@AxaFin you can you have to time the punch so it lands accurately, you're not having power because the shot isn't landing clean enough, I fought Canelo on the hardest difficulty, his power shots felt heavy everytime he laned them because they were counters and flush shots, stop playing like an arcade
Based on the controls they should use the ine button for blocking body and head that you can focus on other things in the like your movement to help avoid getting hit i think that small change will go a long way in the long run. Then you can work on slipping and weaving i hope they make that change only time will tell Keep it up Ricky J 💯
My biggest tip!
Dont engage those punks that just block and slip all match,
They trying to get a cheap dizzy, just move in and out and land enough punches to win rounds...
You can be feeding them all match and one good slip counter and your dizzy.
Let them slip around in circles on the spot like a spastic .
Don't get pissed and try to punch them out in one go just circle and punch its all bait and the game rewards it...
Dont waste stamina in early rounds.. try not to let it drop under 90%
Roy jones jr, Ali, and fury players do it heaps...
Liking the game so far, hopefully stamina gets tuned seriously, had a match last night, finished a guy in the 11th and looked at his stats. He threw 1512 punches compared to my 600, and he was ripping in the 10th and 11th the way he was in the first
The other day I was playing as Joyce and I have no idea how this happened but I did what looked like a ''catch and shoot'' and it looked awesome! From memory I was holding down the trigger to block and I was moving both sticks and mashing buttons too, I think. I've tried to replicate it since, but no luck. Maybe it happens automatically from a certain distance when you time the block perfectly and move the stick and he will catch and then shoot. I've been searching through gameplay tricks/tips but there is no mention of how to do it. Anyone reading this please let us know if you have experienced this too or if you know how to do it. Thanks

I thought they had a ref in the ring. Its a key aspect i enjoy. I hope they add it back in. Its a bit rusty around the edges this game. Animations need a tweak for sure.

Missed so many punches from slipping them and he swings half ass and than get popped in the face kills me on stamina
I use smokin joe and I usually get knocked down around 3rd-4th round but 6th-7th I always get a ko always feels like a great comeback story but any advice for the earlier rounds, does head movement work better in later rounds because I try mimic how smokin joe fought bobbing and weaving a bunch his counter left hooks do damageeee
So is that bar the health and stamina in one?? Please reply I can’t find answers anywher

Something that bothers me about this game is the fact I can land back to back hard hits but I get jabbed a couple times and get ko'd. It makes no sense at all. I'm literally destroying people just to lose to a bs jab

Good points Ricky, i would also mention depending which boxer you use, use their card attributes in their stats. For instance, like Leonard has direction punches that are more efficient. Use the boxer and his abilities to be more efficient.
