My own experience, If possible have real standups atleast 2 times a week, huddled around a sprint board. *I used to frown upon this* , considering it a waste of team time, however with Story points or task "effort" being measured and discussed as a group, it helps to ensure developers or designers keep each other in check, especially if you're personally unsure of the technicalities of a task. For example, If "John" has taken 3 days to complete 1 website header, whilst James has completed the equivalent of 5 headers in 3 days.. John and James being in each other's presence whilst progress is discussed, encourages accountability and efficiency, and also keeps feedback objective (no emotions). You can follow up by asking the entire team if "effort needs to be remeasured?" as opposed to calling one person out, to where the team then debate amongst themselves. Slackers or weak links are then exposed by design, which results in less conflict and rifts between yourself and team members.

Voices for male and female (coach cutman mangers ). Too much reading 7. Refree in the ring 8. Need security guards in the entrance 9. More hairstyle & facial 10. Option to fight catchweight 11. All brand should be locked beginning of career you have get sponsor to unlock them. 12. Call out any fighter even if they are below ranking 13. 3rd commontstor explain the scorecard why they are winning the rounds 14. Speaker logo or Coach face speakers advising you whilst fighting 15. Option to loan for injury but need to pay back within 5 fights. Injury should cost minium 60,000 not over 200,000 16. Able to avenge your loss even you are higher rank 17. Able to see boxers record with the list of names who you fought 18. Able to see other fighters stats before accepting in the ranking list 19. Pay percentage for holding organisations belts 20. 100% mate, and i've also been playing this game since early access, but cant say i've had 200+ hours like some streamers (eyegameuwatch) i am a boxing fan and not amazing at online ranked (80/85/4) but stopped playing online due to career mode coming out. this video highlited problems with the ai that i did pick up on, some anyways while playing. no one was spamming upperkuts to the body, step back rights etc (that you see online) however i agree with all that you said, the gameplay is okay but they need to change the ai i personally dont mind sim training however it does seem like a chore and repetitive i don't see the point in having to sim for sharpness as well as weight as if you sim for sharpness from 25/30 to 70, then you end up overweight at the max which doesn't make sense as why would you put on weight when you've been training all them weeks this causes to waste more weeks and age faster. also yeah the hairstyles, body physique and beards i wasn't impressed with no cutscenes (we aint asking for story mode esque cutscenes but at least for belts) ai is deffo the main problem i found out late in my 30's that you can acc send out contracts to any fighter but by then the likes of canelo, sugar ray, khan were all like 50/60 rated yet still top of the governing bodies and had all the belts, how does that make sense the real life fighters shouldn't age there's me thinking that all this time i aint been getting real opponents, just made up ones so i have to get the better managers and then ill get offers from canelo etc but that wasn't the case when i unlocked the best promoters also aside from career mode if thats the last update which i hope isn't then we need a lot of fighters added including the absolute necessities like mike tyson, floyd mayweather, manny pacquiao, gervonta davis, chris eubank, devin haney, george foreman etc. also additional referrees as there's only kenny bayliss all in all you know it's not a big ask from steel city, from what i understand they have limited budget creating fighters and adding refs is not a big ask, increasing the customization for career is not a big ask, adding cutscenes for belts adds to the experience and again is not a big ask we aren't asking for story mode like changes as it isn't story mode, however it would be nice to see these changes, along with changes to training giving the option to sim to say a set level, or the option to get an A grade or D grade in the same mode (e.g. defensive sparring) if you decide to do the training a training mode is something to definitely think about but not top of priority and of course fixing details and stats e.g. ensuring fighters e.g. kell brook, crawford, canelo dont end up being too easy and 70 rated when it comes to fighting them, again not a big ask just a case of coding that stuff in the final point is the gameplay and improving the iq of the ai and fixing them which in my opinion yet again is not a big ask. This man explained in this video everything wrong with the gameplay all in all these are the main points and if they get recognised and fixed, we could be in a real good spot for this game

If you think about it, anything that "matters" has not been updated for over 3 years. It's all tweaks to stats, new venues, and scanned characters. They skipped on fixing anything we complained about, to create a mobile game quality boxing Simulation
Pretty much this. I envision junior developers hired to solve senior problems, and tweaking whatever they can to appear to be making progress. The sad thing is there's nothing to "sell". Why hire boxing Fanatico (that's a salary which could go to a developer) when he can't create undisputed content on his channel? We have roughly 4 months to see if they'll offer core hotfixes, so there's still hope.

Man i remember when i 1st saw it when it was ESBC back in like 2018 i was soooo excited b/c im a huge fan of boxing. It has become my favorite sport the older i get. I love the intelligence of it...Idk what happened but it seems like when it went from ESBC to undisputed everything changed

Fair video, some of the stuff they’ve got to win are small wins here and there and would make a difference. Should be a mini game for training, cut scene for when you win titles and real fighters being true to life
I'm so tired of sports gaming not taking cutscenes seriously. Growing up, I dreamed of cutscenes in sport games, but most of them are cringey and revolve around everything but the sport, or they're just filler. Fight Night Champion is the best story in gaming because it's about the sport, whilst keeping a cinematic approach to the characters. The story in that game touches on family, disappointment, greed, betrayal, etc. Most 2k story modes are just that you get drafted with a rival, and a bunch of team reps push you to improve engagement. Most of them lack soul and authenticity. They never make you feel like an NBA player.
fax bro. so many games take the fun out of accomplishments the players make. i remember in nhl 2k 10 when you won the Stanley cup you could pass the cup around for however long you wanted and the commentators would be talking the whole time, me and my brother would win the cup and celebrate for like 30 minutes😂 now it's just low effort cut scenes and aparatently just pictures of a belt
Oh yeah, unfortunately the 2K games have also become very bad. The main story always consists of a rival and a social media career outside of basketball. But the worst thing is that you can choose a team at the beginning and are no longer randomly picked by a team. The scenes from the draft are also completely missing from the new 2K games. Same with Undisputed, if I become champion I want to see a cutscene with the belts. Even EA has that in UFC4 even if you become double champion
@@SirchLP facts. Allowing players to choose teams strips away the feeling of a journey. When I was 13 my Myplayer on 2k11 got drafted by The Suns and cut because I played badly in the summer league. I had to play in the G League until another team gave me a chance, and then I went on to become a Pacers legend. That was more impressive and organic than any of the crap 2k has put out in the last decade.

Now I'm specifically looking for the "worse" teams. But it must be like before that you get picked at random.. I created an entire channel called. undisputed cheaters 8 months ago, to showcase proof of the players I reported. Every one of those players still remain.. The "we want your feedback" routine is a sham.. If anything they silence feedback to "Cope".
Honestly… I don’t mind the way they’ve incorporated training. UFC career got so tiresome having to do the same training stuff over and over, it borderline made it a chore just to get to fight week.
I hear ya, i also don't mind simulated play.I just find there's to be highly underwhelming compared to similar, since it doesn't adapt as you progress Also it'd be nice to have the "choice" to hit a bag, this is not a hard mechanic to include.. but they've allocated most of their money on sales and buying fighters, they don't have devs capable to implement basic things.

The fact that we’re still having to reset to default/center position in order to throw punches is absolutely ridiculous, and the fact that the developers have seemed to move away from gameplay adjustments to focus on career mode is really awful
I barely found out about this game earlier in the year, idk the whole history of development but I’m glad to see it’s coming to console in October. I appreciate smaller indie studios these days because for the most part they put actual passion/effort into making a good game. Fight Night Champion came out in 2010 (still holds up well tbh) but imo because of the rise of the UFC and just overall business behind the world of boxing is why we haven’t seen any boxing game since then. So cudos to this studio for taking on the challenge to give us all a new boxing game
I generally enjoyed my time in the career mode when comparing it to other most combat sports games but I do agree with most of the points in this video.

Even though I enjoyed the career mode for the most part but I agree with a majority of your video. I don’t think your being too harsh because the things you said do need to be improved. When the new car smell of the career mode wore off I started to see areas that they must improve on and I’m planning on making a feedback video on my gaming channel. Good video
We say we hope that the release will fix all of the stuff we want and add.. dialogues, cutscenes, conference press, weigh ins, training games... but, tbh the full launch will probably patch just some of the bugs and tweak the stamina and damage system. Don't know what their plan, just marketing or also quality but ... if this kind of career mode took them.. 2 years or so.. in the remaining months they will make small changes.

Damn I dont struggle with this bad with the AI. I never seen them grab me as much as they’ve grabbed you on this video. Lol. But you are right about the swing at air, relying on counters and standing steel to get finished off.!! I wish it was more based on different personalities of boxing and trying to get around what it is that I am doing to win to fight to make it more immersive
I bought this before career mode came out and was impressed. I at least expected that when career mode would be eventually released it would have to be as good as fight night , i expected jump rope mini games , boxing bag mini games , sparing etc... There was so much wrong with career mode - i've become champ multiple times with multiple different characters and cant figure out how to retire. My age seems to make no difference fight all the way to 50 and all my opponents get weak as piss by the time i've fought them a few times, literally end game turns into 1st round knock out every time. I stopped playing to 50 and would just stop using the character when i was bored and start again.
I'd imagine they have to meet certain expectations before their next shareholder meeting. With that, they had to prioritisw career and caf modes as leverage to push sales in order to get further funding. Problem is they have alot of full timers employed.. And from my experience that drains the finances, your better off hiring contractors for a few months at a time, with no pension related stuff to worry about. I could be completely off btw.. Just my experience working for startups
You're not harsh enough, how can you enjoy a Career Mode if the fights themselves are absolute 🐩💩. Steel City are just aiming for release, making whatever money they can, and then EA will see the complaints and demand and swoop in with a new fight night

This game has the best movement in any boxing game I've seen but the punching sucks and the punching animations also suck. Fight Night Champion had the best punching, realstic punching speed and best animations. If they combined Undisputed's movement with Fight Night Champions punching this would be the best boxing game ever
I think the huge problem with Undisputed, is everyone involved seems to have a massive Ego and not know when to stop and build up what they already have, if they had at least that one voice in the leadership to say "this is good, let's stop here for now,and refine what we have." If they had stopped about 2 or 3 years ago we would have gotten a smaller scale, but more complete experience, instead they kept building and made it too big too fast. They said they are now focusing on Full Release for PC and Consoles now, but who knows how that's gonna go. Full disclosure,I still like the game, and still think it's great (when i can play it, it isn'tfully Steam Deck compatible), but I can definitely still see the issues.
Added on top of how buggy the Carter mode is, the camera showing your player when announcing your opponent, the lack of being able to train all attributes in your skill tree, lack of customization for equipment, I was excited when they announced this game and the care they were going to put into it, and now I still think fight night champion is still a better game

Thank you for your honesty. Purchased this game last week. I was immediately bored and turned off by the glitches, lack of time put into career mode, bugs, same old stuff. This is why Fight Night Champion will remain my favorite boxing game
While I have been very critical of the career and I don’t like offline modes in general, I liked the career mode for what it was. It’s kinda disappointing tho because I say I like the mode and now I’m a shill because people aren’t finding the answer they want to hear. I can see where it would get boring or just outright unplayable but again for it was worth I liked it

Ref seems stiff. Need random generated refs. It never feels like you start at the bottom and reach to the top because the ref is the same person for small and large venues. There are some cut scenes that don't feel alive compared to fight night everything felt like action and flows perfect. This game is stiff but it's slowly moving forward just really slow.
Yeah I think the Ref is literally a fixed mannequin for before the fight starts.. same can be said for the boxers teams standing corner side, they have no expressions.. it's sad, because I know they have the time and resources to fix these things, but seems they're focused on Sales and partners
A little late to this video, but yes I agree about the presentation of career mode. It needs more drama. I know it's not everyone's favorite part about boxing IRL, but the pre-fight press tour and the building back and forth between fighters whether that be a social media post about your last opponent, or whatever. Just adding more drama will help get us invested in the career mode. I also absolutely need to see the ability to use my custom fighter in multiplayer. Particularly in private lobbies. I understand not allowing it in ranked for balancing reasons, but at the very least my friends and I should be able to pit our custom fighters against one another, period.
I’ve been thinking about coding a boxing game and I was like….hmmmm the first thing I’ll try to make as realistic as possible is the actual combat since I box too. I wanna make it feel like you can somewhat have the feeling of throwing a jab, slipping punches,and managing foot work. It’s actually tough but maybe I’ll do it. Make the story mode more cinematic like an actual story
Your reviewing a game still in beta development. It doesn’t come out until October. I’m expecting it to be more refined on release and if it’s not I expect a cyberpunk situation where updates will improve the game dramatically

I have a dedicated Undisputed channel here where I offer tips each match @claimerundisputed. Key bit of advice, play matches where you're focused purely on defence. Blocking high and low. You need to build defensive patterns so it becomes subconscious to you. But yeah I'll uploading tips over the next few months on that channel
This is a good concept - I thought playing it for the first time. Then the dev said that game is basically over and they want to port it to consoles. Honestly it's funny that FNC still holds so well to a game that supposed to be next next next gen

I feel like they should add to the career mode, moving up or down in the weight classes. It would make the game a lot more fun and it would add a lot more challenges to the game ass well
I think 2k should do a boxing game. Can you imagine how in-depth? The career mode would be. Being able to pick dialogue during press conferences. Can even push your opponent. Building up fights.
Yup, there's definitely a possibility 2K with the modern tech available Undisputed didn't make use of, could create an immersive boxing game inside and outside the ring

Claimer, you need to look at Undisputed's new tweet announcing a "deluxe" version of the game with "3-day early access" and a fighters pack. Meanwhile the game hasn't even had an update in 5 months.
"Feeling cheated" are the perfect words, when the AI do random things with no logic during 5 rounds and then counter 3/4 hits with perfect spacing until you go down. The way the stamina works is bullshit between you and the AI even at close stats. Why bother doing all those stats just for adding a multiplier for the ai it's dumb and it breaks the feeling of progression. The upercuts feels terrible both on landing/throwing and yes i agree the clinch is broken. I really hope this game will try to improve things before going further on useless monetisation. Good vid ! I was watching Pryoxis play and I honestly agree with the criticisms. When I watched him get dog walked by Michael McKinson of all peaple, and stopped after beating him with counters for every single round I damn near spit out my drink in laughter.
Fun video and really insightful Saddens me because I was excited about this game. But did you either use an A.I voice or like what ? So many words said how no human would... like "CARCAYSIAN" The vocal audio cuts wildly and ends in a "inhuman" way. It's fine if you are just intrigued.
It's my real voice lol, but I use auto remove silences which often abruptly ends sentences, and sometimes I overmphasis on words for comedic effect.. In that instance how ridiculous is it to have a Caucasian man with a typically black american name. I mispronounced the word because I don't us it much.

I think you're being a tiny bit harsh. The harsh part being the A.I. in career mode. This game clearly favors outside boxers over inside fighters. It doesn't do well emulating the footwork needed to evade attacks while closing distance. The outside boxing is just O.P. I hate outside boxing, but I created an outside boxer and an inside boxer. It is INSANE how easily I won fights on the outside. I'm not even going to mention how much easier it would've been had I maxed out the height and reach. I challenge you to create a short-armed, stocky fighter on undisputed difficulty. Let me know what you think about the A.I. then.

take a look at jxshepp footage on the official undisputed yt page, that guy is using hacks,barely takes damage and kos cpu in 3 hooks even thou his stats are low (65 is his highest stat everything else is on 45) looks sus but ive not played for over 6 months,so be good to get another point of view
There were alot of jumpcuts, it's possible although he was probably regaining stamina in between rounds using the check hooks which deal alot of damage. Jx officially works for Steel City so he'll have to show the game in its best light by design. If he were a general content creator shilling for scraps I may feel more invested in scrutinising him, however I've heard from multiple sources that internally he's one of the few vocal employees who speaks on most issues. All in all.. I wouldn't be keen to create playthroughs for a broken game.

Winning a belt with no animation, or even carrying it to the ring during subsequent fights was very underwhelming. I do enjoy the management aspect of fight preparation. Unfortunately for the sake of Pre-sales.. They've alluded to improvements, but they won't be showcasing those improvements until launch, shady in my opinion. I would wait a few days after full release, ill have a full honest review be then, and youll be able to see latest steam reviews.

You are right about the fact that different boxers mean only different skin. I think they fight according to their boxing style, namely outboxer, swarmer, etc. and one or two punches are added as favourite punches. However, these favourite punches are translated as spam punches into the gameplay. I think that's why the Caucasian friend jab spammed you. His fav. punch and boxing style tell him to jab in the same time. And also, I hope they change the punch set system and allow us to modify each punch individually because orthodox power punches seem too telegraphic or slow while southpaw power lead hook and straight feels more accurate when they are executed in a combo. I mean, where is the fun in being less talented and slower Ali? So far for me, career mode was fun and exciting at the beginning but now the gameplay seems a little bit repetitive and because of the lack of authenticity in created boxers, it is a pass-time game for me. I play it when I listen something like podcasts or music.

My own experience, If possible have real standups atleast 2 times a week, huddled around a sprint board. *I used to frown upon this* , considering it a waste of team time, however with Story points or task "effort" being measured and discussed as a group, it helps to ensure developers or designers keep each other in check, especially if you're personally unsure of the technicalities of a task.
For example, If "John" has taken 3 days to complete 1 website header, whilst James has completed the equivalent of 5 headers in 3 days.. John and James being in each other's presence whilst progress is discussed, encourages accountability and efficiency, and also keeps feedback objective (no emotions). You can follow up by asking the entire team if "effort needs to be remeasured?" as opposed to calling one person out, to where the team then debate amongst themselves. Slackers or weak links are then exposed by design, which results in less conflict and rifts between yourself and team members.

100% mate, and i've also been playing this game since early access, but cant say i've had 200+ hours like some streamers (eyegameuwatch)
i am a boxing fan and not amazing at online ranked (80/85/4) but stopped playing online due to career mode coming out.
this video highlited problems with the ai that i did pick up on, some anyways while playing. no one was spamming upperkuts to the body, step back rights etc (that you see online)
however i agree with all that you said, the gameplay is okay but they need to change the ai
i personally dont mind sim training however it does seem like a chore and repetitive
i don't see the point in having to sim for sharpness as well as weight as if you sim for sharpness from 25/30 to 70, then you end up overweight at the max which doesn't make sense as why would you put on weight when you've been training all them weeks
this causes to waste more weeks and age faster.
also yeah the hairstyles, body physique and beards i wasn't impressed with
no cutscenes (we aint asking for story mode esque cutscenes but at least for belts)
ai is deffo the main problem
i found out late in my 30's that you can acc send out contracts to any fighter but by then the likes of canelo, sugar ray, khan were all like 50/60 rated yet still top of the governing bodies and had all the belts, how does that make sense

there's me thinking that all this time i aint been getting real opponents, just made up ones so i have to get the better managers and then ill get offers from canelo etc but that wasn't the case when i unlocked the best promoters

all in all you know it's not a big ask from steel city, from what i understand they have limited budget
creating fighters and adding refs is not a big ask,
increasing the customization for career is not a big ask,
adding cutscenes for belts adds to the experience and again is not a big ask
we aren't asking for story mode like changes as it isn't story mode, however it would be nice to see these changes, along with changes to training giving the option to sim to say a set level, or the option to get an A grade or D grade in the same mode (e.g. defensive sparring) if you decide to do the training
a training mode is something to definitely think about but not top of priority
and of course fixing details and stats e.g. ensuring fighters e.g. kell brook, crawford, canelo dont end up being too easy and 70 rated when it comes to fighting them, again not a big ask just a case of coding that stuff in
the final point is the gameplay and improving the iq of the ai and fixing them which in my opinion yet again is not a big ask. This man explained in this video everything wrong with the gameplay
all in all these are the main points and if they get recognised and fixed, we could be in a real good spot for this game

If you think about it, anything that "matters" has not been updated for over 3 years. It's all tweaks to stats, new venues, and scanned characters. They skipped on fixing anything we complained about, to create a mobile game quality boxing Simulation
Pretty much this. I envision junior developers hired to solve senior problems, and tweaking whatever they can to appear to be making progress. The sad thing is there's nothing to "sell". Why hire boxing Fanatico (that's a salary which could go to a developer) when he can't create undisputed content on his channel? We have roughly 4 months to see if they'll offer core hotfixes, so there's still hope.

Man i remember when i 1st saw it when it was ESBC back in like 2018 i was soooo excited b/c im a huge fan of boxing. It has become my favorite sport the older i get. I love the intelligence of it...Idk what happened but it seems like when it went from ESBC to undisputed everything changed
Isn't that crazy to think in 2018 it looks the same or possibly better than it does now. And that's with the millions they made selling it in early access.
Fair video, some of the stuff they’ve got to win are small wins here and there and would make a difference. Should be a mini game for training, cut scene for when you win titles and real fighters being true to life
I'm so tired of sports gaming not taking cutscenes seriously. Growing up, I dreamed of cutscenes in sport games, but most of them are cringey and revolve around everything but the sport, or they're just filler.
Fight Night Champion is the best story in gaming because it's about the sport, whilst keeping a cinematic approach to the characters. The story in that game touches on family, disappointment, greed, betrayal, etc.
Most 2k story modes are just that you get drafted with a rival, and a bunch of team reps push you to improve engagement. Most of them lack soul and authenticity. They never make you feel like an NBA player.
fax bro. so many games take the fun out of accomplishments the players make. i remember in nhl 2k 10 when you won the Stanley cup you could pass the cup around for however long you wanted and the commentators would be talking the whole time, me and my brother would win the cup and celebrate for like 30 minutes😂 now it's just low effort cut scenes and aparatently just pictures of a belt
Oh yeah, unfortunately the 2K games have also become very bad. The main story always consists of a rival and a social media career outside of basketball.
But the worst thing is that you can choose a team at the beginning and are no longer randomly picked by a team.
The scenes from the draft are also completely missing from the new 2K games.
Same with Undisputed, if I become champion I want to see a cutscene with the belts. Even EA has that in UFC4 even if you become double champion

When I was 13 my Myplayer on 2k11 got drafted by The Suns and cut because I played badly in the summer league. I had to play in the G League until another team gave me a chance, and then I went on to become a Pacers legend.
That was more impressive and organic than any of the crap 2k has put out in the last decade.

Honestly… I don’t mind the way they’ve incorporated training. UFC career got so tiresome having to do the same training stuff over and over, it borderline made it a chore just to get to fight week.
I hear ya, i also don't mind simulated play.I just find there's to be highly underwhelming compared to similar, since it doesn't adapt as you progress Also it'd be nice to have the "choice" to hit a bag, this is not a hard mechanic to include.. but they've allocated most of their money on sales and buying fighters, they don't have devs capable to implement basic things.

I barely found out about this game earlier in the year, idk the whole history of development but I’m glad to see it’s coming to console in October. I appreciate smaller indie studios these days because for the most part they put actual passion/effort into making a good game.
Fight Night Champion came out in 2010 (still holds up well tbh) but imo because of the rise of the UFC and just overall business behind the world of boxing is why we haven’t seen any boxing game since then. So cudos to this studio for taking on the challenge to give us all a new boxing game

Even though I enjoyed the career mode for the most part but I agree with a majority of your video. I don’t think your being too harsh because the things you said do need to be improved. When the new car smell of the career mode wore off I started to see areas that they must improve on and I’m planning on making a feedback video on my gaming channel. Good video
We say we hope that the release will fix all of the stuff we want and add.. dialogues, cutscenes, conference press, weigh ins, training games... but, tbh the full launch will probably patch just some of the bugs and tweak the stamina and damage system.
Don't know what their plan, just marketing or also quality but ... if this kind of career mode took them.. 2 years or so.. in the remaining months they will make small changes.

I bought this before career mode came out and was impressed. I at least expected that when career mode would be eventually released it would have to be as good as fight night , i expected jump rope mini games , boxing bag mini games , sparing etc...
There was so much wrong with career mode - i've become champ multiple times with multiple different characters and cant figure out how to retire. My age seems to make no difference fight all the way to 50 and all my opponents get weak as piss by the time i've fought them a few times, literally end game turns into 1st round knock out every time. I stopped playing to 50 and would just stop using the character when i was bored and start again.

I'd imagine they have to meet certain expectations before their next shareholder meeting. With that, they had to prioritisw career and caf modes as leverage to push sales in order to get further funding.
Problem is they have alot of full timers employed.. And from my experience that drains the finances, your better off hiring contractors for a few months at a time, with no pension related stuff to worry about. I could be completely off btw.. Just my experience working for startups

This game has the best movement in any boxing game I've seen but the punching sucks and the punching animations also suck. Fight Night Champion had the best punching, realstic punching speed and best animations. If they combined Undisputed's movement with Fight Night Champions punching this would be the best boxing game ever
I think the huge problem with Undisputed, is everyone involved seems to have a massive Ego and not know when to stop and build up what they already have, if they had at least that one voice in the leadership to say "this is good, let's stop here for now,and refine what we have." If they had stopped about 2 or 3 years ago we would have gotten a smaller scale, but more complete experience, instead they kept building and made it too big too fast. They said they are now focusing on Full Release for PC and Consoles now, but who knows how that's gonna go. Full disclosure,I still like the game, and still think it's great (when i can play it, it isn'tfully Steam Deck compatible), but I can definitely still see the issues.
Added on top of how buggy the Carter mode is, the camera showing your player when announcing your opponent, the lack of being able to train all attributes in your skill tree, lack of customization for equipment, I was excited when they announced this game and the care they were going to put into it, and now I still think fight night champion is still a better game

Thank you for your honesty. Purchased this game last week. I was immediately bored and turned off by the glitches, lack of time put into career mode, bugs, same old stuff. This is why Fight Night Champion will remain my favorite boxing game
While I have been very critical of the career and I don’t like offline modes in general, I liked the career mode for what it was. It’s kinda disappointing tho because I say I like the mode and now I’m a shill because people aren’t finding the answer they want to hear. I can see where it would get boring or just outright unplayable but again for it was worth I liked it

Believe it or not.. This was an issue, they fixed it.. And now it's back.
The current build is worse than it's ever been.
Ref seems stiff. Need random generated refs. It never feels like you start at the bottom and reach to the top because the ref is the same person for small and large venues. There are some cut scenes that don't feel alive compared to fight night everything felt like action and flows perfect. This game is stiff but it's slowly moving forward just really slow.
Yeah I think the Ref is literally a fixed mannequin for before the fight starts.. same can be said for the boxers teams standing corner side, they have no expressions.. it's sad, because I know they have the time and resources to fix these things, but seems they're focused on Sales and partners
A little late to this video, but yes I agree about the presentation of career mode.
It needs more drama. I know it's not everyone's favorite part about boxing IRL, but the pre-fight press tour and the building back and forth between fighters whether that be a social media post about your last opponent, or whatever. Just adding more drama will help get us invested in the career mode.
I also absolutely need to see the ability to use my custom fighter in multiplayer. Particularly in private lobbies. I understand not allowing it in ranked for balancing reasons, but at the very least my friends and I should be able to pit our custom fighters against one another, period.
I’ve been thinking about coding a boxing game and I was like….hmmmm the first thing I’ll try to make as realistic as possible is the actual combat since I box too. I wanna make it feel like you can somewhat have the feeling of throwing a jab, slipping punches,and managing foot work. It’s actually tough but maybe I’ll do it. Make the story mode more cinematic like an actual story

Hey I'm about avg 200 wins player cant seem to get better. I play with Ward only, maybe a few games Gatti and Ricky Hatton. Can you give tips for defense? I get in alot of trouble with calming down and choosing whats in front of me.

Key bit of advice, play matches where you're focused purely on defence. Blocking high and low. You need to build defensive patterns so it becomes subconscious to you. But yeah I'll uploading tips over the next few months on that channel

This is a good concept - I thought playing it for the first time. Then the dev said that game is basically over and they want to port it to consoles. Honestly it's funny that FNC still holds so well to a game that supposed to be next next next gen

I feel like they should add to the career mode, moving up or down in the weight classes. It would make the game a lot more fun and it would add a lot more challenges to the game ass well
I think 2k should do a boxing game. Can you imagine how in-depth? The career mode would be. Being able to pick dialogue during press conferences. Can even push your opponent. Building up fights.
Yup, there's definitely a possibility 2K with the modern tech available Undisputed didn't make use of, could create an immersive boxing game inside and outside the ring
@@ClaimerUncut exactly can you imagine the online community and hub. Build your own gym. Sign to any of the promotion companies or start your own. Have the real titles WBC,WBA,IBF, and WBO. You can’t be undisputed unless you carry those belts.

Tbf this game feels on par with fight night champions but with slightly better graphics. Still needs some polishing and beefing up

Claimer, you need to look at Undisputed's new tweet announcing a "deluxe" version of the game with "3-day early access" and a fighters pack. Meanwhile the game hasn't even had an update in 5 months.
"Feeling cheated" are the perfect words, when the AI do random things with no logic during 5 rounds and then counter 3/4 hits with perfect spacing until you go down. The way the stamina works is bullshit between you and the AI even at close stats. Why bother doing all those stats just for adding a multiplier for the ai it's dumb and it breaks the feeling of progression. The upercuts feels terrible both on landing/throwing and yes i agree the clinch is broken. I really hope this game will try to improve things before going further on useless monetisation. Good vid !

I was watching Pryoxis play and I honestly agree with the criticisms. When I watched him get dog walked by Michael McKinson of all peaple, and stopped after beating him with counters for every single round I damn near spit out my drink in laughter.

The vocal audio cuts wildly and ends in a "inhuman" way. It's fine if you are just intrigued.
It's my real voice lol, but I use auto remove silences which often abruptly ends sentences, and sometimes I overmphasis on words for comedic effect.. In that instance how ridiculous is it to have a Caucasian man with a typically black american name. I mispronounced the word because I don't us it much.

The community have been playing the latest build, honestly.. Save your money, wait in a few months for it to be discounted. The game currently rewards those who spam power strikes, and they can do it the whole fight.

I think you're being a tiny bit harsh. The harsh part being the A.I. in career mode. This game clearly favors outside boxers over inside fighters. It doesn't do well emulating the footwork needed to evade attacks while closing distance. The outside boxing is just O.P.
I hate outside boxing, but I created an outside boxer and an inside boxer. It is INSANE how easily I won fights on the outside. I'm not even going to mention how much easier it would've been had I maxed out the height and reach. I challenge you to create a short-armed, stocky fighter on undisputed difficulty. Let me know what you think about the A.I. then.

I know.. They apparently lowed the polygon count, and there original trailers were highly edited. That's why they're recieving all the backlash now
I've noticed that backstep straight you mentioned for a good while now and it does my head in that it's still in the game..looks horrible.
We've been complaining about it since Day 1, and the fact they can't fix it.. is a dead giveaway they don't have a solution or possibly access to their expensive motion capture facility anymore.
It's not unrealistic. Ali use to do that shit all the time. It's how he koed Liston.
@@sky-oq5mr there is a big difference from the way Ali stopped Liston with a backstep counter compared too the animation currently in undisputed it looks completely different if you compare the 2 and the devs definitely need too work on it.

take a look at jxshepp footage on the official undisputed yt page, that guy is using hacks,barely takes damage and kos cpu in 3 hooks even thou his stats are low (65 is his highest stat everything else is on 45) looks sus but ive not played for over 6 months,so be good to get another point of view
There were alot of jumpcuts, it's possible although he was probably regaining stamina in between rounds using the check hooks which deal alot of damage. Jx officially works for Steel City so he'll have to show the game in its best light by design. If he were a general content creator shilling for scraps I may feel more invested in scrutinising him, however I've heard from multiple sources that internally he's one of the few vocal employees who speaks on most issues.
All in all.. I wouldn't be keen to create playthroughs for a broken game.
well if he's speaking out against the game i will happily pipe down, such a shame i love this game when it came out hopefully when it finally gets to consoles they will have a player base with genuine feedback not based on wemod hacks.

Winning a belt with no animation, or even carrying it to the ring during subsequent fights was very underwhelming. I do enjoy the management aspect of fight preparation. Not having to slog through mini games that im inevitability terrible at, etc. Allows you to build differnt style fighters without being limited by the games youre good at.
Does it have a kind of spectate mode, so I can test sliders??

Unfortunately for the sake of Pre-sales.. They've alluded to improvements, but they won't be showcasing those improvements until launch, shady in my opinion. I would wait a few days after full release, ill have a full honest review be then, and youll be able to see latest steam reviews.

You are right about the fact that different boxers mean only different skin. I think they fight according to their boxing style, namely outboxer, swarmer, etc. and one or two punches are added as favourite punches. However, these favourite punches are translated as spam punches into the gameplay. I think that's why the Caucasian friend jab spammed you. His fav. punch and boxing style tell him to jab in the same time.
And also, I hope they change the punch set system and allow us to modify each punch individually because orthodox power punches seem too telegraphic or slow while southpaw power lead hook and straight feels more accurate when they are executed in a combo. I mean, where is the fun in being less talented and slower Ali?
So far for me, career mode was fun and exciting at the beginning but now the gameplay seems a little bit repetitive and because of the lack of authenticity in created boxers, it is a pass-time game for me. I play it when I listen something like podcasts or music.
I ending up in a draw with my finals match and he conceded but now it’s just stuck on the tournament screen 😒
