Very nice build Ron. I don't build models but do build furniture out of wood. This is one of those serendipitous videos that UA-cam recommended but I never would've searched for. However, now I'm thinking of trying to scale these up to a larger size that I can use in the woodshop, maybe with bungee cords in place of the rubber bands...
very cool Ron! i like ur version n /improvements! i otta try this sometime soon Great clamp odea!that are kind of like that ? I always say "why buy when you can DIY"
Ron, I really enjoy the detail you put into your videos. And look forward to watching them when the notifications show up in my in-box. Do you have any videos on your small table saw?
That's OK. Appreciate your views and comments. I need more genuine comments and ad watchers :-) The Baby Table Saw is really nice but also really expensive. Probably last several peoples lifetime. Just can't beat it for small stuff. I previously had a small Dremel Table Saw (for +/- 35 years) which I used for model airplanes and it was absolutely gutless... sometimes you cut the wood and sometimes you burned a cut into the wood. My wife was so accustomed to foul smells coming from the model room she totally ignored a window A/C when it burned up. Ron
Ron: What saw is that? I'm looking for a small table saw to do projects with my grandson. That size would be ideal. Thanks. OOPS. Never mind. Just saw your previous post. Thanks.
I have a review on the baby table saw - Byrnes 4 Inch Table Saw - Review & Demo ua-cam.com/video/gn1VOs6ayWg/v-deo.html Expensive but very powerful little saw. I should mention this is not a kids toy and is every bit as potentially dangerous as a full size table saw if not more so due to the smaller size. Thanks for watching! Ron
Wood glue like Titebond Original (PVA or aliphatic resin) has a strong initial tack and sets up pretty fast. With clean dry wood, once the wood has absorbed some of the moisture from the glue you can start working with the parts. Usually, 10 to 20 minutes and you are good to go. If you get in too big of a hurry and knock the pieces apart, the second attempt to glue them will take considerably longer because the surfaces of the wood have already absorbed some moisture. In a warm environment, general construction, the joint is pretty well cured after 24 hours.
Definitely worth a go.
Thanks for the effort making the video.
Thanks for watching. Please subscribe!
That is what keeps this channel running.

Wandell and Walters: the smartest makers on UA-cam, in my opinion.
Clever project, Ron. The additional "third hand" is always nice to have available.

Thanks Ron, sorry I saw that you had already answered the very same question for someone else after I posted...

👍
Let it dry....
How long is that ?
Let what dry? Epoxy or glue?

Very nice. I will laser cut a bunch.
You should build a harpsichord.
OK... that's funny! How did we get from modeling clamp to harpsichord?
Ronald Walters I don't know yet! That's up to you to design. Haha! Love it though.
