I honestly do not like the doll at all.. the dress is just not it at all
It's also the makeup for me, I like the dress pieces, just not the styling
The worst part are the shoes

At the bottom of the order page, it states “All images are prototypes. Final product may vary. Mattel reserves the right to modify the color, decorations and scale.” Should be interesting if the doll received is what was shown or something maybe closer to the concept art. I know it’s probably just a disclaimer, but still…
It would be great if the colors aren’t that bright much it should be atleast darker a little😢😢
Yessss! I am hoping for the gothic window style box with opening doors as well. It's too perfect! I would maybe change the shoes to black with the pastel blue accents and then shorten the stripe layer to just a ruffle so you could still see the shoes through the lace or mesh or whatever that is. I love that they added the distressed striping just like on the OG. I always love the callbacks on these collector dolls. I also think the contrast is off in pics to show all of the details and that she's really pastel like we are wanting.

I like the doll too-it’s the pricing + the fact they took out parts of her details(on top of changing the shoes which we choose on) that pisses me off about her

So glad you’re talking about this! I am looking forward to her BUT I’m skeptical. I’m still very new to doll collecting so your advice goes a long way. At the end of the day, I would still love to have her in my collection but I fully agree with doing a repro for Rochelle as well!!

As an avid collector of MH dolls since the beginning, I'm really disappointed in all the new dolls in general. Their bodies are really different like their overly long legs. It looks so disproportionate. My favorite Rochelle Goyle doll was Scaris. So cute! Everything about her was fabulous! This new RG creation..I don't like her clothes or her hair. So, at $90 I think it's a no for me. I'm ALL for reproductions!
I’m glad someone pointed out how weird the proportions are, the necks are so small now that everytime you dress them it looks like you squished their heads in-yes I get it humans don’t have long necks but those are 12 inch dolls-they aren’t suppose to look realistic

@@rgennarelli same here!! They don’t even bother to stay consisted with the designs, they look nothing like they do in the cartoon and neither the dolls or cartoon look like the live action films..which is such a downgrade from how consisted g1 was
In my opinion, there were too many ideas put onto a doll that was too small to house all of them. The poofy dress, the plastic cage piece, the earrings and the crown…it’s a lot. And for 90$…yea it’s a no from me gurl. ✌🏻✨
Honestly the only way I think that $90 price point would be worth it is if the doll had:
•Inset glass eyes
•Bigger poseable wings
•Ankle articulation
•Chest articulation
•And actual clear quartz for her shoe.
You want to charge stupidly outlandish prices, then you better make that doll stupidly outlandishly premium. On God.
On top of the ridiculous price point, they've straight-up changed actual designs that the fans had picked. WHY HAVE THE FANG VOTE IF YOU'RE NOT ACTUALLY GOING TO MAKE WHAT THE FANS PICKED? The shoes being different is just straight-up a lie, and the gloves not being there is a rip-off.
Design-wise I feel like the colors on the dress should have been pastel, as is its kind of hard for me to actually look at without my eyes straining. They gave her a Barbie pink stripes when they should have gave her baby pastel pink. LIKE THE FREAKING ARTWORK.
I don’t like the idea that we should wait for the package to see if that’s why she’s 90$ cause that shouldn’t even count-most adult collectors often don’t care about how fancy a box is, ik there are in box collectors but even then im sure they’d be fine with a simple box-I mean the hunt counture were only 75$ and they had a unique box
As someone from overseas, she would cost me atleast 100+ and that’s sadly just too much I can spend on one doll 🥰
Not a fan of the dress but everything else looks great, to bad I’m too poor to buy her 😢
