I’m so happy they brought MOSTLY everything back from the original in the Tour remake! I’m very hyped to race on this track again. Super nostalgic and honestly is one of my favorite GCN tracks! I have a feeling we’ll also see this track in Wave 5 too 😊
I Can assure your feeling about the appearance of GCN mushroom bridge,Because of the data mined/leaked assets like mushroom & bob-omb cars,and hopefully if Nintendo select this track,that they bring back the warp pipe shortcut,this due the presence of double item boxes!
Just looking at the footage made me think that GCN Mushroom Bridge R/T doesn't enter to the 2nd tunnel. What I think the route will be like is that after you exit the tunnel, you will rerouted towards the hill shortcut and send you to the glider ramp and trick back to the starting line.
Mushroom City has never been remade before and Mushroom City is Way better than Bridge in my opinion. But i’m ok with Mushroom Bridge but i would have been Way more happy to see Mushroom City because it never got a remake and its better in my opinion.
Funny how I got Mario Kart Double Dash posted to me yesterday, and the first track I played on was Mushroom Bridge. A few hours later, we get the preview image, and the next day we get this trailer and speculation. Must be fate
Love how they remade Mushroom Bridge much more faithfully than in DS along with all the visual upgrades for Tour (I only miss Mushroom City, although I do like the new islands), looking forward to racing on it there and most likely in 8 Deluxe, too!
@Swiftjar Did you know?: It seems Pirahna Plant Cove 3 is also coming in the 2023 Mii Tour. That means Pirahna Plant Cove and all of its routes are ready to be in the Booster Course Pass, possibly sooner than some think... possibly maybe in Wave 5. Which means that if Petey Pirahna gets added in, he could be in Wave 5 as well. Fingers crossed for Pauline to make it in, too, whether in Wave 5 (similar to her & Diddy Kong being in Wave 2 of Mario Strikers Battle League's DLC) or Wave 6; but trying not to set my hopes too high.
Can’t wait to possibly see this in the Booster Course Pass. Personally would’ve liked to see Mushroom City but the Bridge remake is already doing it so much justice over it’s DS remake counterpart literally just from the trailers alone.

One of the reasons I figured this track would come to the Booster Course Pass is one of the things that seems to be ocurring in the BCP a lot is Mario Kart DS's retro courses
So soooo excited for Mushroom Bridge!!! It seems really faithful to the original as well, so glad they brought back the mushroom cars, bob-omb cars and the wiggler bus, if it comes to MK8 I just hope they don't screw up the music!! That's always my fear when retro tracks come back 😭😭
Could be a long shot but if mushroom bridge does make it into the booster course pass they could block off the pipe shortcut for the first 2 laps and then in lap 3 arrows could direct you to go through the pipe and then you’re in mushroom city for the last lap
While I am DEFINITELY excited this stage is coming back.. and im looking forward to the 2003 nostalgic trip from this...this does concern me a little. I hope this doesn't lessen Daisy Cruiser's chances of coming in Wave 5. That stage is amazing and deserves a spot in Wave 5, considering its a perfect summer stage.. Unless we get 2 GCN spots in Wave 5, I expect we'll get this in wave 6. And the other thing that's more of an understanding disappointment than a concern... RIP Mushroom City -- the better GCN traffic stage imo. However, im willing to agree with the general concensus that there are far more city stages in MK8 than Shroom Ridge-esque stages, so its understandable why MShroom Bridge got picked over MCity.
Really hope this comes to Mario kart eight this track looks really good and I am so excited. I’m currently waiting for my pre-order for tears of the Kingdom. It should be here around 12 or 1 o’clock can’t wait to play the game
Great analysis of the track swiftjar.I think there is a very high chance it will come to the BCP looking at the remake it has undergone.I’m glad they have brought back most of the original features as well because original is always best in my eyes.can’t wait to play it😊👍

Never been a huge fan of Mushroom Bridge - in terms of layout, it’s basically SNES Mario Circuit 1, but with cars. That said, I definitely would not mind if Mushroom Bridge was added in the BCP. However, if it does get in, I’m keeping my expectations low to avoid disappointment - even though the bomb cars, Mushroom cars, and Wiggler bus are back in Tour, they could always cut them in 8DX

i hope it comes back i wonder how they'll incorporate it slightly change it up with new shortcuts near the bridge also shortcut pipes needs to be added in too was removed in ds hopefully it returns but also remixing the track muisc same goes to waluigi stadium where as the original felt way more better then the remix but however im hoping theyll keep the base track theme the same as in double dash and ds too
dont like that this is now just an isolated island with a circular road and a bridge.... they couldve atleast added the background like in doubledash to make it look more busy and connected

Honestly hope this doesn’t come to the bcp, the track is like 3 turns max and the rest are straight lines. Besides the music the tracks pretty lackluster once you get past the nostalgia, Dino Dino jungle, mushroom city, dk mountain, or daisys cruiser would be a better fit in my opinion

Dry Dry Ruins isn't possible. Only two Wii courses are left, one of which was already datamined to be Koopa Cape, and the other is unknown, but in the original course order, was the final course of the Spiny Cup meaning it's probably Wii Rainbow Road. So far, the course selection hasn't changed at all from the datamines besides the order. I think Mushroom Bridge will be in wave 5 alongside Daisy Cruiser, with Bowser Castle 3 in wave 6.
@@Videoguy612 It's almost impossible, then. The datamines so far have been 100% correct with the course selection and I doubt they're going to replace one course specifically. The whole 'GCN replaced by Wii' theory came from Maple Treeway being moved to wave 3, probably so 2/3 of the classic courses in wave 6 wouldn't be from the same game. It started being brought up again when Dry Dry Ruins was announced for Mario Kart Tour, despite the files showing that the courses were moved, not replaced.
While I would have preferred Mushroom City, I'm okay with Mushroom Bridge, especially because they opened up the inclines on the bridge to drive on once more.
After wave 6, I'm sorry to report (not like it matters), but this course unfortunately didn't make it into the BCP. It's actually kinda sad what little appreciation GCN tracks got in Mario Kart 8. The original base game has 2 of the worst GCN courses, and the DLC wasn't much better. It wasn't until wave 4 of the BCP that we finally got some good GCN tracks to race on.

How does this decrease the chances of Daisy Cruiser? There are three more GameCube courses left, two in the same wave. Mushroom Bridge could be in the Feather Cup, and Daisy Cruiser could be in the Cherry Cup.

In my opinion, Mushroom City would have felt quite redundant considering there's already a bunch of city tracks coming with the BCP

My guess for the GCN tracks in the BCP are Mushroom Bridge, Daisy Cruiser and Dino Dino Jungle
I think they'll be Mushroom Bridge, Daisy Cruiser and DK Mountain.
DK Mountain is becoming more likely imo to be included over Dino Dino Jungle.

It's unclear for GCN Mushroom Bridge to be the second course in wave 5. Sometimes, Nintendo likes to swap these prefixes around in each waves.
