Short tongue is a problem.. I feel it a little bit in the Mach X2.. It's OK but I just like a tongue that is at least 1.5cm longer than the laces.. Now many are under 1cm length.
I once wore a soft shoe for half a day. It took out my knees for weeks. So I steer clear of soft wobbly shoes nowadays. I’ll just stick to the Pro 3 and find a more stable and firm cushioned shoe as my daily trainer plus walking shoe.
@durachoks you misunderstood. Pro 3 is for running only. To me, the Evo SL can be a daily trainer plus walking shoe. It looks good. But given how soft and unstable, I think they are better for young people.
I haven't got these ( yet 😂) but must say the Adidas sl was hopeless yet the Adidas SL2's are superb, I think maybe Adidas realised they had ruined the SL and had to put things right , which they did . 👍
AP3 on sale 😂 I am someone who needs mild stability. I was lucky enough to snag two pairs in adidas NYC 12 and 12.5. I returned 12 my usual size as I find it a bit narrow at mid foot. But using 12.5 I found it to be unstable. So I’m selling. Guess I’m gonna run on Boston and pro 3 and my trusted Tempus and Superblast.
Get one with carbon/composite plate, puma deviate nitro 2s are on sale right now as an outgoing model. I have AP3 and the drop is just not for me, horrible lacing heel slip and upper can make blisters.
for me its too uncomfortable for slow everyday running, but it feels great even at slow paces, tbh I would run only in AP3 is that upper would be comfortable
One of the best shoes I have ever purchased; it’s also fine on wet surfaces. I love it,
I think for a slow runner I prefer to get a second pair of the Pro 3 on sale 😂

Maybe that's why they prerelease these, to get feedback?
How is the stability comparing to the Novablast 5?
i also purchased in NY, .5 size up fits ok. i changed the laces and like them more.
Can you recommend this for Long Slow Distance runs?

Pro 3 a walking shoe? lol, its my favorite running shoe, but I cant imagine anything worse for walking xD

Alex, are you saying if I'm wearing US10.5 for the Pro 3, I should get a US10 for the Evo SL? Tq for the review
Thanks for talking about how much space you have or like infront of your big toe.
Of course you’re welcome!!
What is the difference in the Evo SL to the SL2 ?
Any reason to have this if I have the Mach X2?
No reason
Could you compare this to the Cloudboom zone? Different price point but they seem to have tons of overlap.
On is way better than adidas dude
On the danish adidas website it says d. 12 of december for release.
Does it perform better than NB 4? In regards to overall feel, comfort and energy return?
You should never have reviewed a shoe that you knew was too small for you. If it was a shoe with no hype, would you have done so?
Good question. Honestly I don't have the answer but I guess I would at least have waited longer before doing it
So whats the alternative then for some wideness/stability needed if you dont want to pay up for the AP3?

this or the mach x 2?
Mach x 2 for me. Just does more, but both are top notch shoes.
so a regular adidas, largely ok with weird sizing and lousy uncomfortable upper
AP3 has better value and much better constructed shoes!
AP3 is good but almost double the cost, they’re not really the same value proposition.
These will be on sale very quickly after release. Adidas is famous for that.
@@Demarco-ZaeI just picked a pair up on sale at £145.00
