Yes thank you and it does make a great combo, very white and clean looking but interesting enough, my snow DB has more yellowish tones than my true DB's which are more pinkish. Could be random variance but Cool Stuff! :D

I know this video is older but can you breed Super snow to Super snow? Could you breed a bell albino super snow to a super snow?
just finished this series and you explained everything so perfectly! looking to get into leopard gecko breeding and you made it so easy to understand, especially with combining morphs! it can be a bit complicated so i appreciate you taking the time and explaining it in a way that makes sense! also, saw that you live in az! did you make it to the phx reptile expo this weekend?

Im sorry i have an issue with the way the diablo blanco was explaineds. Pretty sure it was Ron Tremper who created the diablo blanco and unless I am mistaking the diablo is a raptor blizzard not justs a blazing blizzard eclipse

So you're base morphs showed on the 1st vid are all non hets?
In the base morphs video they were visually expressive for one type of look/gene. So i believe I showed an albino right? I cannot remember, but albino is recessive so technically the animal is carrying 2 copies of that mutation but it expresses as one physical looking change in the animal. Have you seen our genetic series on recessive, dominant, linebred and incomplete dominance in genes? That video helps to understand how the genetics works in geckos, but to answer ur questions, all of the geckos in the base morphs video have the possibility of carrying 1 copy of a recessive gene that I am unaware about such as albino or eclipse because those genes can be "hiding" in the animals and you wont know it until you breed it to an albino or eclipse and then 50% of the babies will show the visual characteristics of that recessive gene now that they inherited 2 copies of the gene :)
Yahoo, think I figured out what our guy is. Super Snow Albino. Same champagne color, same stripes. His eyes are black but at times you can see some white towards the back part (towards his body) but not all of the time. The other night the whitish was very evident and thought something was wrong but today all black. Is that a trait/morph of an Eclipse? Also, his nose is white.
Also, he is about a year old and is just over 8 inches long.

I am still confused.. So what is a snow stripe leopard gecko?
Sorry the "stripes" are an effect that happens only with the Albino Super Snows (2 copies of the snow gene, and albino gene), it does not happen with the regular super snow, only the albino. The stripe is not its own set of genes but simply a "weird" coincidence that happens when you combine the ALBINO genes and 2 copies of the SNOW genes in a gecko. Does that make more sense?

Love your videos! So much information from the goodness of your heart. I have a question if you’re available. What would I get from breeding a super snow (tremper) eclipse with an albino (bell) tangerine (assuming no het)
Do you work with Universes at all? I have trouble telling the difference between universes and galaxies sometimes.
Not really, as of now i only stick with super snow eclipse :) The universe is enigma added in? If you can remind me :)
@@GeekyGeckoCreations universe is just a total eclipse (galaxy) with white and yellow. No enigma.
@@bliss13s78 oh ok, yeh thats a nice mix then, my goal right now with super snow is to cross it into fasciolatus to strengthen the blood and then add WY and all that good stuff! :D
Now I was just reading that the giant and super giant is more of a line breeding thing than a genetic gene thing. It was saying they thought it was recessive but it was proven it wasn’t, then they thought incomplete dominant but that wasn’t it. So they are saying if you happen to breed geckos and just end up with a larger gecko than normal you keep breeding it back and then so on and so on. That’s why they were coming up with it being line bred just continuously breeding large geckos back to large geckos. You tell me what you think because I’ve heard from many sides on this topic and it seems everyone has an opinion on it even some of the biggest names in the game.

Great Great Video Series. I literlay took notes and am going to make a cheat sheet to remember all the info. I believe I just hit a slam dunk with my first purchase from a rehoming site. I got a Albino that has signs of Giant male. He's huge. his head is huge and when i get home I'm going to weigh him out. My goal is now clear. Giant+Blizzard+Eclipse+Albino. I may have 2 of the four Genes already but time will tell. Thank you so much. Huge Fan of your Vlogs!!!

Thank u Roy! Yeah I did shoot some video of how to build this style rack, it was about 18 hours of footage the first time and then another like 11 hours of footage for the 2nd rack I built lol so I thought to myself hm... I might need to edit this video durring a period where I have more time to do so, but I apreciate your desire to learn and I i promise if I can, I will do a video on that at some point, hopefully soon!
On the super snow albino one can u use bell albino for albino
yeah Super snow can be mixed with any strain of albino :)

Great video. I checked out the website recently, and I like the design. Pretty geckos. In the future I will be starting my own super snow breeding program. Would you have any recommendations? Also, could you take a tangerine and cross it with a snow to have an orange background and large amounts of spots?
Snow and Super snow take away most if not all orange, yellow, and red pigment in a gecko so ive never seen anyone produce a super snow that is orange, that would be SOOOOO cool tho. I just rewatch your video and I think I was wrong. Based on your explanation, it’s the ECLIPSE GENE that makes the albino eyes become ruby. Am I wrong? 😄🙏
@@armyhobbies Thank you! Your comments mean so much! And thank you for being a good student too, I can see you are passionate about this hobby as I was when first learning! So to answer your question, yes. Albino in definition means the REMOVAL of black pigment. So when an eclipse gecko has all BLACK pigmented eyes, what the removal of black will do in the eyes is give it more of a DEEP RUBY RED appearance which is pretty cool! =)
Now, heres an extra fact for you, since you are a student. There are 3 DIFFERENT types of Albino mutations in leopard geckos. The most popular is Tremper Albino, then Bell Albino, then Rainwater Albino. Each of these have SLIGHTLY different effects on the eye color / pattern color on the gecko. The Tremper and the Rainwater will give more of a RUBY RED eye color when mixed with eclipse and the BELL will SOMETIMES give a little bit LIGHTER RED color, creating a little bit more contrast, but not all the time. BELL is NEWER to the hobby than TREMPER and so people are just now really beginning to explore the possibilities :D
