    Great suggestions
I keep an email address for my shopping so I choose when I want to look or sign up. Also at times I ask my favorite retailer if they will price match another retailer that I really don’t shop at .

Hi Neelou! Haven’t seen you around YT lately. I hope everything’s alright! Happy holidays!

I love this but I would refrain from haggling with smaller businesses. Cause it’s more like their livelihood and it’s inconsiderate.
I work at a boutique and the lengths people will go to is just disrespectful.

Completely agree! I feel like when it comes to corporations, though, all bets are off. 😂 Where do you think it’s appropriate to haggle?

@@NeelouGoodarzi You can haggle at antique stores. It's almost expected! But I don't think I'd even think about it at a traditional store (one selling new things.) I had a friend who worked retail at Sears when we were in college. He worked in the white goods (i.e., fridges and ovens) area, and he'd say you'd be amazed at how many people would try to get a discount. That just strikes me as weird.

Neelou Goodarzi, yeah I agree with you in corporations and with Katy about stores that sell used items and ask for a discount from the amount you buy! I think that’s fair as long as your not putting too much pressure on the employee. Just wanted to share my experience so that people watching might not go off and haggle to no end. I do believe most people have a conscience to how far is appropriate but just for the few.
Basically at least excluding the indie, small business (just one store) kinda places. Asking further from already getting a no starts to get frustrating when you know the owners of the place barely keeps it afloat.

Yes! Totally agree. I like haggling at antique stores, especially when I’m bundling items. But Sears?! Too far 😂

So true, Jess! So many indie stores and small businesses already have so much trouble staying afloat these days (thanks, Amazon). Wish I had mentioned that in the video-thanks for sharing and for watching ❤️
