Hope you liked this guide on how to swap stationery! I wanted to make a more helpful video on how to swap stationery/a guide to swapping stationery and hopefully some of you feel more comfortable trying it out for yourself! Sorry for the late update- school has been busy recently but I'll be done with my last final in June so I'll upload more frequently then! If anyone has video suggestions feel free to leave them down below :)

omg this is so inspiring! also wanted to let everyone know that vellum paper (not that Kelsie used it in this video I think lol this is just in general) is actually not that great for the environment so if you would like to pen pal or swap stationery then I recommend keeping it ecofriendly:)

Thanks for the guide… I’ve been pen palling for about 5 years and paper crafting for 2..I think. Anyway, I’ve always wondered what all of the memo sheets and post it notes were used for…. Now that I’ve been watching you and a few other you tubers do your pen pal with me videos, I get it… I’ve also realized that you don’t use already designed letter writing paper - you use grid paper and use everything to decorate the plain paper…. I think that’s a good idea - makes pen palling a bit cheaper… I don’t have any of those circle or rectangle stickers - looks like I need to go shopping at AliExpress..

I love your guide :) are swaps a one time thing, or a short-term/long-term thing like penpalling?
thank you!! to answer your question- swaps are usually a one time exchange however if the swap goes well and you like what the other person gave then you can always ask them to swap again! I’ll often swap with people I swapped with before :)

no worries! I mail a swap the same way as normal just in an envelope through the postal system! You can basically treat it as a pen pal letter :) you can also choose whether or not to decorate the envelope (some people do but others don’t so it’s up to you!)

I don’t really do this because I don’t trust people. Like I will send someone some of my favorite and cute stationary and then they will send some bad and cheep looking stationary. But I can see on there Instagram they have no problem spending the money for them selfs. Since there constantly position all the new stationary things they get from brands like muji and pentel

Omg yes. You have to send things back in a swap. That’s the whole point of a swap! For both people in the swap to get things back. If you want them to send you stuff but you don’t want to send anything back then that’s you being a greedy spoiled brat. lol How would you feel if someone did that to you?!!!!!

Where did u get that wood storage box and where did u get your stationary I live in Iowa and they have NO CUTE Stationary so I use AliExpress but it takes sooo long
I suggest Etsy as a good place to look for cute stationery and also good for handmade items like boxes and storage containers

I ship them out in regular envelopes and I’ll decorate them depending on if I have time! Sometimes I’ll just do something simple if I want to send it out faster :) some people decorate and others don’t so it’s all up to you!
