I love this! My favourite studio ghibli film is spirited away, totoro, and cat bus! Cat bus is up there because I remember watching it when I was little and it’s great for nastalgia… you can mourn the past, but welcome the future! :)

Does anyone know the type of paper that is used in the letter? I can't find any grid paper that my glass pen ink doesn't bleed through, and I really need one because up until now I have been using blank sketchbook paper with lines drawn on it.

If a friend of yours that moved far away still keeps in contact with you, you could ask them. Or there are some platforms that can help you find a pen pal, some I would recommend are InterPals or Conversation Exchange. On those platforms, it is very easy to find a pen pal as there are millions of people also trying to find a pen pal. I used InterPals and I found someone I liked straight away! We now pen pal each other usually once a month because we are both busy!
There are penpal finder accounts on instagram!! But beware of catfishes. Penpalling requires for you both to share your exact address so make sure to verify that the person you want to penpal with is what they say they are. Its better that you speak online for a little, maybe ask for some kind of verification such as a photo if them holding up a paper that has a specific thing written on it.
