Linus - Hey, no sweetie
Cat - Fine, I'll just lurk in camera shot and stare at you until you give in. MY house, MY boxes.
ASUS: We're putting the "k" back in thick
Me: I need the $4k monitor
walet:you are so funny
Ah, uploaded 17 seconds ago, this is the fresh content I need.
Bruh, my UA-cam legitimately crash when he begins talking about the pricing of these monitors.
Hahaha the stands falling off just made my day. So hilarious.😂😂😂😂
Great video! Even though by the time the video is playing on my phone what Linus is seeing on the monitor isn't what I'm seeing, I really do enjoy these monitor/TV comparisons. Having someone who you know has a lot of experience reviewing displays and is willing to do non-sponsored comparisons is invaluable.
“You should never have black bars on every side of the video”
*Me who watches this video with Linus' weird aspect ratio on a regular 16:9 screen*
12:44 linus flexin there...
0:58 Well that was a graceful save from nearly dropping the monitor box 😂
How do you dislike a video when it hasn’t been out out long enough to watch it
Assholes. That's how.
It came out. That's why. All the reasoning you need.
It's pretty easy. See the thumbs down icon just below the video to the right? You just have to click that.
I did, but not because I'm an asshole or a troll, I've been watching Linus for years and love his videos, but I just dislike for that dumb aspect ratio.
So don't put me on the same bag as trolls or assholes lol.
Maybe people disliked the video when they watched the first 30 seconds or less of the video? Think before you write.
Watching the HDR vide on a NON-HDR display...
Listening to you describe the quality... I gotta take your word for it.
"You can see...." No we can't! We look at those monitors through our old cheap ones :D
O.o, my phone can, and that is by no means high end.
I'm watching on my phone but I have an $800 & $500 monitor
@@MLWJ1993 Ok so your phone is from the future and can display everything exactly how it looks in reality.
@@danielroder830 not really, but the difference is still very stark between all of them (at least on my phone it is, I wonder if it indeed looks different on my pc).
I see Linus is a dedicated fan of Diary of a Wimpy Kid, the best book series to date.
People: What's with the beard, Linus?
Manscaped: Let me be your sponsor plz..
I would buy a HDR monitor just to see that beard clearer
Your channel was really good but are you like 9 years old
@@literallyeverywhere6450 *KEEP SEARCHING BOYS, WE NEED TO FIND WHO TF ASKED*

@@PlinkyVR I asked
i wish i had a bot to get comments and make a list called "a list of ppl who say they asked but didnt" ik its a joke but it doesnt really work in this case
My misses has told me to stop watching cus it's costing me to much money
You can configure the colors in the monitor settings and with software, I'm sure the cheap ones can improve a lot with enough time to fiddle with them.
Or you can get frustrated with it and go back in the market.
6:43 it wouldn’t be a Linus video without this
5:21 Good thing you didn't toss it behind you.
Hey Linus !!! Muito obrigado por colocar legendas em Português, acompanho sempre seus vídeos e a legenda me ajudou muito !!
Muito obrigado ! 😃👊🏼😁
Cool to see another fellow Brazilian here.
That’s so weird. I was just watching a video on Hdr for my tv.
Linus be looking like a lumberjack with that beard.
just need the spanders and checkers to complete the look...
He looks like the waterboy for the real lumberjacks.
I have that exact newsync monitor. After playing with the colors you can really hone in the picture. Also works great with my 2070 Super. 165 in Apex legends max settings and over 200 in Far Cry 5
2:02 should that be blurred?
Nah it’s public info. Comes up instantly w a google search of “Linus Media Group Address”
I think so
It's just the business address that is also on their website, not his personal one.
How about making a video about ICC profiles and color calibration? Can you calibrate different HDR modes etc. I hated my Acer TN monitor until I changed the ICC profile to the Adobe1998 ICC and raised the vibrancy by 10% in NVidia control panel, now I love it
11:09 My heart was literally going to attack! #linusdroptips
Ayyyy.
He got the ASUS monitor he talked about in the Apple Pro Display XDR review.
Guarantee it looks worse than the XDR
@@jblps sadly, its prob true, apple did great on it
iirc James made a first impressions video on either here (LTT) or on ShortCircuit, I'm not sure
@@jblps Not really. It is much better than the XDR.
@@GeckoClever Linus seemed pretty underwhelmed. -How do the resolutions compare?- 6K vs 4K. Asus seems like a souped up average 4k display to check all boxes in terms of refresh rate specs while the Apple 6k no doubt looks better @ 60hz
Great explanation of the different ranges that are available out there. I was always curious about this but work too much to dive into every tech topic. As usual, you guys did a fantastic job of laying it out for us!
"....and yes it costs 4 grand but its worth it"
guess i wont be going to college
4 grand for college? that's cheap
Blaze don’t ruin the joke.
@@osaze2708 fair enough lol
Lol 😂 this comment section is hilarious
4 grand monitor, But is still using a red dragon mouse

Ducktales? My Little Pony? A man of culture I see :)
Indeed he is

i mean, he has children
All I learned from this video, is that I am very happy that I went for OLED instead of LCD a long time ago.
14:10 Why is there no top like for this time
>Everyone skips the sponsor
Smh my head
Damn I was looking for a comment pointing that out 😂
