Just discovered your channel. Girl, you can cook. I am a great Sierra Leonean cook looking to add other African cuisine to my list of skills. You make it so easy with your Ghanian dishes. Thanks.
How I love nanaaba's kitchen! I am not a kitchen whizz but these recipes are all easy to follow and yield great results. Nanaaba's teabread and dinner rolls are on our table every morning, since months! This jollof is wonderful too. What i love the most is the passion of the lady, "look at that broth!" :)
Trust me, you have become part of our family ! Im married to a Ghanaian and it s just so nice for him (and our kids) to get a taste from home. Recipes are super easy to follow, no funky ingredients, simple and as i said, the passion is infectious! You more than deserve to be lifted up!
Amazing. You keep blowing my mind with your technics and the cooking. I know my grandmother made great Ghanaian food but this is above and beyond. Do you have a cooking book yet?
I tried this step by step... N my love affair with jollof began immediately 😍😍😍😍 thank u... I'm actually turning into a decent chef thanks to u.... Next is puff puff wet version...
I love preparing jollof rice. Am a young lady who loves to cook. Am learning from u. I hadly use water in cooking. U can try that ma'am.. Use only the broth to cook through
Very true, even though the taste was good, the water i added to the rice made it too soft. I think just the stock from the beef and heat is enough to make it soft
Yay!!!!! and returned to provide feedback! I thank you so much for that. Please continue to stay connected with the bell on for future recipes. Thanks again!!
Girl u went to town on that jollof , amazing , u put all ur kukruku energy on it . Power cook the intelligence of the coconut oil timing to sustain the Flava till the end of time is lit. Wowo Krom dread
I like in North America. I do most of my grocery shopping at oriental stores, African stores and near by local grocery stores! Where I shop is mainly dependent on what item I need and how much I’m willing to spend on it lol 🙏🏽😘

Akosuagh 1, please refer to the discription box for details on replicating this recipe, important info such all ingredients and the amount needed. Thank you!!
Steam is what cooks the rice, so use parchment paper, or foil to trap the steam to cook the rice through for a fluffy outcome. Also, keep in mind that the stew has moisture so it’s better to add a small amount of water to begin with. You may always add more but cannot remove added water 🙂. The rule of thumb in cooking rice is to use the ratio of 2:1- rice : moisture, however things get tricky with jollof since the stew has moisture. I hope my response helps😊✌️
I love your pots my dear. Above all ur cooking and cleanliness

Water is my problem! I never no how much to add
