North Bali its closed to Banyuwangi island and between the island its beautiful, and Singaraja area property still cheap the future airport will be finish maybe soon who knows

being indonesian doesnt make you know better about places in bali than foreigners - esp if you are not balinese, most indonesians have only been out of their island for a few times in their life, for a short time too. travelers like lost leblanc knows places than 99.9% of indonesians.

As an Indonesian guy who lived in bali before the pandemic hits ( I moved back to my hometown when the pandemic hits hard in Bali ), I just want to thank you for promoting bali and helping these people who affected the most. Hope bali will comeback to the level it was
I've only been to Bali once in my life, I went on a retreat and didn't have much free time to get to know much but after watching your video I really wanted to come back and visit this beautiful place. Great video!

Actually before the pandemic many tourists went to menjangan island. usually they go to menjangan for scuba diving or snorkeling.. I've been there 3 times.. but still this is a great video.
Not only Bali is one of the most gorgeous islands in the world, but Balinese people are definitely the friendliest and kindliest people on Earth! Every person you could meet there is smiling, welcoming and happy to help without expecting anything in return. Bali is amazing, but Balinese people are THE gems.

Your story make me remember with one of my stories when I and my friend helped foreigners/tourists. At that time my friend and me were going home after worshiping at the mosque. I saw a man with a European/Aussie face praying without using a prayer rug on the asphalt in front of the mosque because the mosque was full of worshippers/prayers. I looked at my friend and we immediately put our prayer mat/rug under him so his head wouldn't touch the asphalt when prostrating during worship. we waited for him until he finished praying. it feels good and a blessing 😇

Friendly? All I ever here is people getting into trouble going to jail or being framed, a corrupt government and the Balinese complain they have had there culture trashed by visitors but are forced to tolerate it as they need the tourist dollars.

It's a beautiful place. I'm balinese that used to live in tabanan. If I sometimes go back to jakarta, i'll go to ketapang first and make a short rest before crossing to java with ferry. It's beautiful beaches tho

Menjangan Island and the surrounding is popular destination for mid to high income locals especially from the big cities. So i guess its just a best kept secret from foreigners. Menjangan have several five stars resort already such as Dynasty and Plataran, so for sure its not as remote as you might initially thought.

My first visit to Bali was before you were born. I've been back a few times but the last was 10 years ago and I won't be going back again. Bali has been all but destroyed by tourism now. It's just so sad.

Don't go there, they don't need tourists, they are in a partnership with Korea for seaweed cultivation.
Seaweed cultivation is very vulnerable to death if exposed to dirt from tourists and plastic waste, eastern Indonesia is not for tourism, eastern Indonesia is to support Indonesian fishery exports, so please stop promoting it.

IMO (In My Opinion) North Bali is better and richer nature than too busy South Bali.
North Bali has a complete variety of attractions to hidden gems unknown to most tourists to many unusual organic farming like growing Grapes for Wine, etc.
Because it's perfect climate of 4 active volcanoes around and just on the north coast, so dense tropical jungle climate meets driness of ocean climate = perfect for everything and many people don't realise that.
Even most expats and big companies chose too dry South Bali because a bit far from the active volcanoes 😅

Nobody knows it? It just so happens Menjangen and surrounds are one of the most popular dive spots in Bali. Perhaps you missed the plethora of homestays and 5 star diving resorts in Permuteran.
Love Pemuteran and surrounding area. Most of us who have visited and appreciate this area love to keep it a secret. Just like even still in the 90’s Canggu was a quiet alternative to Kuta, not anymore.

Menjangan island is known by local tourist. Usually the tourist package is tabuhan island east java and menjangan island bali
