Another short walk we have wanted to do for a while. Amazing views from the top over Wales, Shropshire and beyond. Let us know why you climb hills and mountains.
How random! I moved and brought my first home in Wales 3 years ago. Not too far from Rodneys pillar. Thought I'd have a little search on UA-cam, and noticed Zoe straight away. I used to work with Zoe in Lichfield! Glad you enjoyed the walk, I'm up there most days, good for the lungs 🫁
Beautiful virtual tour, nice and interesting to see the beautiful sceneries there. It looks nice and friendly! I enjoyed the tour 😊👍👍 Im watching from Bangalore
It's a fairly old one but a super lovely walk to the pillar guys. Color, sunshine and the smells of woodland then the views. What's not to like. Fantastic on top there. I imagine you got back wholly satisfied. All the best. Mark
@@outdoorgaz5 tbf when I lived in Maesbury around 5 miles away from the pillar as the crow flies looked at my bedroom window it's all I see for 13 years it's a beautiful monument on top of what I think I could be wrong is a extinct volcano I live in Stafford now days but on my way back to oswestry I love seeing it in the distance it just reminds me of home I really hope they keep it

I walked the 3 hills together. Moel y golfa Middletown hill and Rodney's pillar from Middletown. Its a lovely walk the Breddian Hills stunning area.
That's sounds like a lovely walk, we have walked Middletown Hill before but not all three. Thanks for the idea and thanks for watching.
No tea gate saga today ? 😂 😂 😂.. Looks a lovely place to walk, remind me of Thetford forest
We had lots of coffee just not filmed. Thanks for watching.
Looks like a very nice place to go, shame it specified you need to stay on the path, bet you wanted to explore off of the track.
To be fair there were plenty of different paths further up. Nice place though. Thanks for watching Chris
Walked up many a time just a shame they have not maintained the monument at all think there are talks now of just getting rid of it and replacing it
I hope they don't I've got used to seeing it in the landscape I use it for navigation.
