one of my fav walks .the last bit is a killer ... oh and when you get to lake vyrnwy drive right to the far end and park in a gravel car park with picnic benches and walk to the water fall . its not far . about 15 mins walk from the car park
My girlfriends mum is the chair for a charity which is raising money to save Rodneys Pillar, which is falling down. They are regularly standing up there with buckets. Anybody reading this and enjoys the walk, your support would be both appreciated and very helpful
A lovely walk but disappointing to see you flaunt the rules so blatantly by letting Lola off the lead right after reading a sign saying "dogs must be kept on a lead"!! You naughty boy...
Thankyou richard... im a chirk north wales lad... walked up there many years ago... you really should walk up crow castle in llan, and more in slindon as thats where i live now
Another lovely walk! Love that Lola!🐶 Wales look like a very beautiful green country.
I think she was supposed to be on the lead on this one! :)
This walk looks fun. The boardwalk by the frozen pond was cool. Views great as always. Thanks.
Yes - but remember, slippery when wet!

Thanks Maggie. More of Harriet and Lola coming!
Yes, what happened to "dogs must be kept on a lead" ? I live nearby and done 3/4 of the walk but never reached the top.
It's well worth the climb!
Thank you for another delightful walk !
Can you just enlighten me please Richard, as to
who ' Rodney ' was ?
Loving Lola 🐶🐶
Ah yes Rodney ... en.wikipedia.org/wiki/George_Brydges_Rodney,_1st_Baron_Rodney
Fun fact George was one of my great grandparents.
The sort of path that my old scout master would have called ‘grannified ‘ !
MrGreatplum What a great term!
