- Smoked Bacon Wrapped Jalapeño Pepper Popper Recipe, made in an Oklahoma
Joe Combo Offset Smoker. Coring out the Jalapeños with a Jalapeño corer.
In this video we do an offset smoke of bacon wrapped jalapeños
stuffed with a cheddar & cream cheese stuffing. The most time consuming portion of this video happens in the smoke. Depending on how high you run the heat it could take over an hour to get the bacon crispy. I like to run my smoker around 275 degrees with your standard Kingsford briquettes.

I've must have watched 20+ popper videos - this is the best by far
I’m very happy you got something out of it. 😁
Made this for the second time today, wonderful. Thank you for sharing.
That’s great!!!!
Finally, A man that knows how to actually make the poppers
Another one of our favorites for the summer. Yours too?
I have had a similar tray for years. I have done them that way ever since. I never thought about the baggie for piping the cheese. Great idea. I am going to try it today.
How did it work out?
@@TeachaMantoFish It was hard to get it to the bottom. The small spoon I use pushes it in there pretty good.
@@richprusha8551 good tip! When I use the piping to get it all in there, I kind of squirt it down on side and then use my thumb to tamp it down a little.
Man out of all the videos I have watched these look the best! Wow!
If you use this recipe let us know how it turns out?
I don't even eat bacon but that looks so good. Going to check out your other videos.
Prshased my rack and cooked mine yesterday and they turned out great some adjusting based on size but worked week
That’s great!
These look so fresh and decadent 😍in love with your cooking skills and recipes, truly a marvellous amount of effort 🥰👍lots of love from cooking castle ❤😊
Cooking Castle Wow! Hugh praise. Thank you
Gonna have to try it this way. I just got that rack and tool
Great job. I learned alot. I'm gonna try this. I just picked some this morning, so just need to order the stand to smoke them. Thanks and God Bless! Tom
Come back and let us know how it works out for ya!
@@TeachaMantoFish Will do Sir Thanks!
@@TeachaMantoFish Worked Great. Lost one jar of 5 because I was stupid and place a hot jar on a cold counter lol! 😆 Not bad for my 1st rry though. Thanks for the video and God bless!! Tom
@@kayakfishersofmen9193 I think you meant that to go in the canning video 😁
Cool video...I just bought a jalapeno stand ..wish me luck 🤞✌️🍺🍺
So worth it. You’ll love it.
Omg that looks so good
It tastes as good as it looks! Try it and let us know how yours turns out.
I only use gloves for habañeros or hotter because it might burn the ol' jalepeño.
MJorgy5 yeah, I would use it then too. Mines a banana pepper.
Professional cookin 😎
Wow! That’s high praise considering I’m just a backyard bbq guy.
I'm going try that plus I love to try few ghost pepper like that yummy 😋
Interesting. It’s been a few years since I grew ghost peppers. I just started chocolate habanero that should be interesting, if they get big enough.
If you do try it make sure it a peach ghost pepper not a ghost scorpion because there a huge difference between them for heat
Fantastic
ALFA ALFA so easy too. I made them again just yesterday.
Thanks
I like very much this Hibachi
That's cool and yummmmmmy
L&S OUTDOORS filling too since you can do 24 at a time.
Man these looked great!! I need one of these trays! That must make it so much easier!! Great video! 🔥🔥🔥 subbed ya! 💯👍🏻
TN Grillin’ & Smokin Thanks! It does, so much better than cut in half.
To get the stuffing all in there, gently tap the jalapeño on the table. The stuffing settles in nice and firm.
Good trick!
Looks delicious. Definitely best looking popper recipe on UA-cam. Amounts of ingredients (mainly the cream cheese to cheddar ratio) would be helpful. Would you mind sharing?
Thanks! I pretty much do it by eye with 1/3 cheddar 2/3 cream cheese. The biggest thing is you still want to pipe when soft. Too much cheese and you’d have to melt it.
These are good, but check out this more traditional breaded recipe. Amazing! ua-cam.com/video/fIS8eIMCP7I/v-deo.html
@@TeachaMantoFish I made these last night. Everyone loved them. I need to find a popper tray with bigger holes, though. The one I got at Lowe’s was ridiculous. Could barely get the tips of the peppers in.
@@davidfrey8669 there’s an Amazon link in the description to the tray in this video. It’s a good tray.
Awesome. You wouldn't post the recipe and instructions would you?
It is in the video description as well. Cored Jalapenos
Cream Cheese - 1 block
Cheddar Cheese - 1/2 cup
Dried Onions - 1 tbsp
Bacon Bits - 2 tbsp
Regular Cut Bacon

Nice man 🇬🇧
Sending the love back from 🇺🇸
Can you also use this for breaded jalapeños
Yes, we did do another video in our playlist series for jalapenos. Breaded is great with this recipe.... ua-cam.com/video/fIS8eIMCP7I/v-deo.htmlsi=2qJ86ruLsYdXD2KF
I want to do this for Thanksgiving
Let us know how it goes if you do it.
@@TeachaMantoFish can I make this tonight so it'll be ready to smoke tomorrow morning?
@@purplesnowqueen12396 absolutely!
Great! I'll let you know tomorrow how they turn out!
@@purplesnowqueen12396 😎 cool

sneaky sneaky... LOL
What kind of wood?
If I’m stick burning I use white oak. For such a fast cook I will usually just use charcoal.
Is the GasOne grill safe to use in the house?Does it have to have ventilation?
paula nelson The directions say it is for outdoor use only.
Teach a Man to Fish ok trying to find something to cook in house that has good heat temperature to it!
Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated!
@@paulanelson1884 have you considered induction?
Don't rub your eyes!!!!
Heck no!!!!
